Rockley are excited to be offering a brand new opportunity for a motivated and outgoing RYA Sailing Scheme Trainer (RYA Coach Assessor), to join the team at Rockley Watersports for summer 2021 (possibility to extend).
Their primary role will be to run and assist on instructor training programmes, whilst also support the other aspects of the business. - Lead & assist with the running of our school’s product. Providing tuition to a range of students of all ages.
Porto Montenegro Yacht Club

The Porto Montenegro Yacht Club (PMYC) is looking to appoint an outgoing and well qualified RYA Powerboat and Senior Instructor to a full time post in the club with effect from 1st May 2021.
Responsibilities will include all sailing and powerboat instruction completed at the Yacht Club, run the training courses under the parameters of the Royal Yachting Association guidelines, all paperwork, risk assessments and safety precautions are adhered to along with the Yacht Club Manager, and assisting with the maintenance of the YC fleet of boats, running of the regattas, skippering, RC Boats and weekly Club activities.

Powerboat Instructor, Dinghy &/or Keelboat instructor (ideally Senior Instructor), PWC (we may be able to top that up to Instructor when we run a course here for one of the superyachts).
Any prior experience and qualifications with J70 boats, racing, teambuilding experience an advantage.

Suitable candidates will have a strong sailing background, high standards, and excellent inter-personal skills. Instructional experience is ideal, but newly qualified Instructors are welcome to apply. Up to 20 weeks per annum pro rata on water training delivery is required with the balance of working days spent on yacht maintenance and/or delivering RYA classroom training. Sailing activity is only delivered Mon to Fri – weekend sailing activity is not conducted. Normal non sailing working hours are Mon to Thu 0800-1630hrs, Fri 0800-1600hrs.
Essential: Up to date RYA Yachtmaster Instructor or Cruising Instructor with at least one year remaining before revalidation, up to date First Aid, Commercial endorsement and ML5 with at least six months.
Desirable: Classroom, Diesel, First Aid, Radar or Sea Survival Instructor.
