To support families and students when you need us the most, the Napa County Office of Education COOL School program is offering all-day care for elementary school aged youth serving the students of the Napa Valley Unified School District.
Beginning October 26, COOL School’s current full-day care existing sites, Shearer and McPherson Elementary, will be serving “Distance Learning” students only. Not available to “Hybrid In-Person” students.
Starting Monday, November 9 COOL School will expand to a third site, offering full-day care service at Napa Valley College (NVC). Our program is currently accepting PRE-REGISTRATIONS for NVC and serving both “Distance Learning” and “Hybrid In-Person” students. Families interested in enrolling should complete our pre-registration form below.
COOL School staff delivers a program that supports and enriches students while complying with all public health COVID-19 safety protocols. Students are provided with a safe and engaging environment on a schedule that helps working families.
SUBMITTING THIS FORM DOES NOT MEAN YOUR CHILD IS SIGNED UP TO RECEIVE EXPANDED LEARNING SERVICES. Survey responses will determine need and enrollment prioritization. This survey is the first step of our waiting list and enrollment process.
Priority is given to:
- Children who are homeless or in foster care
- Children of essential workers
- Children who received a school referral
- Children from high need families
