NCOE Core Values express the important work at the heart of our organization.

The NCOE Core Values were formalized as part of the 2020-2023 Strategic Planning process. The Strategic Planning Workgroup was made up of representatives from across the organization to develop our goals and priorities, and to establish a set of core values for our staff.

The Values Development process included:

  • A survey of our staff asking what is important about their work and what they want NCOE to stand for.
  • The Workgroup reviewed the feedback and grouped it into categories.
  • The leadership team and Workgroup collaborated to coalesce around six core values that reflect our organization.
  • NCOE staff will use these values to tell our story, hold ourselves accountable, and uplift those doing the great work in our organization.

What Happens Next?

Our plan is to use these values to tell our story, hold ourselves accountable and uplift those doing the great work of NCOE.  In the coming years you will see the values integrated into the work we do every day to support the success of our students, families, educators, and community partners.
We are excited to see these values shape our team as we move forward together! If you have ideas for how to feature these values in our work at NCOE please contact Seana Wagner.
