    My grandpa passed away a few years ago. We didn’t get to say goodbye to him. Yesterday we found out google maps finally drove through his farm and as we were curious going through it, where the road ends, there is my grandpa, just sitting there. 😭

    Please read ’s 🧵on the fires in Australia, which are tragic and still out of control. And please consider donating if you can to support the relief effort (I just did)

    If you haven't seen the comparisons, these fires are now 7x the size of the 2018 NorCal fires and still raging out of control This is the SE of Australia (roughly equivalent to California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona)

    An informative and sobering and read on the gravity of the US-Iran situation in light of today’s actions.

    1. There are unconfirmed reports that Qasem Soleimani commander of Qods Force (Iran's external security agency) has been killed in drone strikes. If true, this will be a major moment in US-Iran relations & Supreme Leader will undoubtedly see this as a major provocation/act of war

    The power of Twitter! And a tale that makes me not take being able to burp for granted 😊 Good luck with the procedure

    A few months ago, as a last ditch effort, I posted on Twitter about the horrible acid reflux which I’d been suffering from for almost 10 years. I had tried just about everything. Proton pump inhibitors, dietary changes, supplements, throat exercises, acupuncture—you name it.

    Product migrations like this are time consuming, challenging and often under appreciated. The engineers, PMs, designers, customer/partner support teams who methodically invest in these migrations are unsung heroes, leading us to simpler product experiences & internal codebases

    I’m grateful for all the customers that helped evolve SnappyTV over the years, for the team that built & nurtured Snappy from the beginning (and now within the Twitter suite) and for and for the vision of founding & operating Snappy and bringing it to Twitter ❤️

    Today, we retired SnappyTV (most functionality is now within Media Studio). Snappy was a game changing and industry leading tool for enabling publishers to do real-time clipping of live broadcasts. It was responsible for most of the Sports/TV clips you’d see on Twitter.

    Almost 4 years ago to the day when I started at Twitter - my first product training was related to . Today, we say goodbye to an OG service whose time has come to end. We'll miss ya snappy! cc:

    Bagel making, batch no. 2. Properly water bath’d this time (with honey), did half sesame half modified everything (didn’t have poppy seeds) and figured out proper timing (I think). Baking life is a good life.
