I ate here for dinner on March 8th and it was an absolutely exquisite experience from beginning to end. The experience to me captures the very essence of a superlative 5 Star experience. The ambience and decor were elegant and inviting and the floor to ceiling views of Central Park and Columbus Circle provided a perfect accompaniment to the dining experience. The service was without a doubt the best I have ever experienced. It was apparent the captain assigned to my table too…k pride in their duties as did the rest of the staff. The dishes came out about every 10-15 minutes and almost all were impeccable and delicious. I was provided a couple of complimentary glasses of champagne which went very well with my meal. Being vegan I worried a little that the restaurant might not be up to the challenge of preparing a substantial 8-10 course meal with this restriction but Chef Corey Chow did an outstanding job. I was introduced to him and the kitchen staff after the dinner which was amazing in and of itself and was given a copy of my menu, a winter citrus jam made by the kitchen and a book of the best restaurants in the world (in which Per Se is deservedly listed). From the greeting by the hostesses when I entered the restaurant to the parting gift it was a fantastic experience that I will make sure to experience again. If you want to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion with among the finest, if not the finest service in the world, this is the place for you.
