Billy has been with the team since 1995, he has gained invaluable experience as he has himself raced since 1994 in the British National Series.
A lon term friend of the family, Billy has always supported the team both Nationally & Internaitonally

As well as helping the team, Billy has recently become involved in Caterham Racing with his Son Carl.He runs his own business, has a wife Hazel and two children, Carl and Zoe. Billy has only ever missed 2 races since 1995.

Kelvin Elmore Mechanic / Pit Crew
Kelvin Elmore joined the team in 2009 and has not looked back since !
He has rarely missed a race supporting the team both Nationally & Internationally.

Neil joined us in 2011 as a main sponsor and consultant for our GT15 Project. As well as being a racer himself, he owns a sucessful motorsport consultancy business.
Neil was the key to Ben winning the GT15 World Championship in 2011 after he dedicated hours of work and preperation for him.

Matt Watts Radio Man/Pit Crew
Matt has been around powerboats since 1998 when he began crewing for Barry Hall in Formula 4.
After taking a few years off due to work he joined the team at the last round of the 2008 in Malaysia.

Matt Mainly attends National races now and supports Ben in his racing. Matt also ensures the Team's media outlets are regulary updated.

Shez joined the team in 2009 and has rarely missed a race since.
As well as turning her hand to being a member of the pit crew, Shez has one of the most important job within the team, keeping everyone fed and watered.

Shez's main focus is on her Newphew, Ben Jelf & Daughters Jess & Beth's racing.

| John Masters Mechanic John is a recent addition to the team and made his debut with the team in 2008. A successful F4 National and International driver in his own right, John has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. A popular and friendly guy, we welcome John to the team and hope that he enjoys his time with us and continues to progress well in his own racing career.

| Ted Jelf Chief Mechanic / Team Owner
A former Powerboat driver, Ted Jelf retired from racing in 1983 to concentrate on his son's racing careers.
Not only an extremely skilled engineer, Ted is also an excellent boat builder and was the creator of the 'Jelf Powerboat' which won many National & International races.

Ted built his last boat in 1999 and has just celebrated his 78th birthday. He continues to travel the world with the team offering invaluable support to his son's Colin & Owen and Grandson, Ben.

Carl Nairn Mechanic/Pit Crew
After a short racing career in the 90’s, Carl has dedicated himself to being a Mechanic for not only the team, but his father Billy as well at British National races.
More recently Carl has started racing Caterham Race Cars along with his Father Billy.

| Phil Lagden Mechanic / Pit Crew
Phil is a former powerboat racer having competed in the Junior & Monohull & F4 Classes.
A long term family friend, Phil attends as many races as his work will permit and as well as being a valuable member of crew he can often be found taking pictures.

Phil concentrates most of his efforts into Ben's racing where he brings the benifit of his many years of junior racing knowledge.

Ron Greaves Mechanic / Pit Crew
Ron joined the team during the 2012 season and has quickly proved to be a valuable asset. Focusing mainly on Beth & Ben, Ron has a wealth of powerboating knowledge and encourages & supports the efforts of our young drivers.
As well as crewing for other sucessful drivers in the past, Ron also volunteers his services for powerboat rescue duties & his local RNLI.

| Nigel Edwards Mechanic / Pit Crew
Nigel is himself a F350 Hydro Racer and has always helps the team when time permits.
Whether it's re-building broken boats or fixing engines Nigel is always on hand to help.

As well as concentrating on his own racing career where he gained a Bronze Medal, Nigel has given huge support to the team and has helped with countless hours of Ben's training.

A former Offshore & SE Powerboat racer, Mike retired from racing in the early 80's but continued his interest in the sport by joining the team. For over 20 years, Mike has dedicated himself to Jelf racing and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.
