Disabled & Paralympic Racing

Sailing is one of the very few sports in which able-bodied sailors and disabled sailors, of all ages, can participate on equal terms.  Outlined below are details of how people may like to get involved with disabled racing, or get on to the Paralympic Pathway.

Here we will explain:

  • the Paralympic Pathway, or the route through disabled sailing to the top, and what you need to do to be part of the Paralympic Pathway;
  • the boats used in Paralympic sailing;
  • how to become “classified” within Paralympic sailing and much more.
