Girls Go Sailing

The concept of groups of women gathering together on a regular basis to exchange views, ideas, and even gossip, has grown to become one of the essential ingredients of the female life style. Over a few drinks, family, fashion, cosmetics, and even men, are favourite topics of conversation, to name a few.
Miramar Sailing School aims to extend this scenario over a 5 day Fun Sail Training Week. Unlike an RYA Sail Training course, our Fun Weeks have no formality, or final assessment element and our girls can learn as much, or as little as they want.
Imagine a week of relaxed learning, chatting, sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling, shore side excursions, and sundowners in the company of like-minded girls in our tropical Caribbean climate. What you do is up to you!!
As with all our “Girls Go Sailing” packages, “Pippa the Skipper” will be your host and there will be no males aboard. We cannot, however, commit to no males ashore!
We offer our all girl crews a complimentary bottle of pink bubbly each, and a Miramar Sailing baseball cap each, as a commitment to our dedication to getting more female sailors and skippers out on the water.
Our “Girls Go Sailing” offer is available to minimum groups of 3 ladies for all RYA Training Courses, Fun Sail Training, and Race Charter
Course Content: As much, or as little sail training, as you want!
Course Schedule: 09:00 Monday – 09:00 Saturday.
Ability after Course: Basic sailing experience, and the ability to stand up!
