Going into the youths being the favorite to win and losing it in the first few days and having to keep going throughout the week.

Winning the 420 worlds and silver at the 470 junior worlds!

What do you most love about sailing?
Of course going fast but also the feeling of winning!

How to deal with the harder times rather than just when your doing well.
Most memorable sailing race you have competed in and why?
Our mast snapping 15 metres away from the finishing line and having to cross the line with half a rig!
Career highlight?
Getting silver at the 470 junior worlds with no support there.
If you weren’t a sailor what else would you be?
Something sporty! Runner?
How do you progress from a club sailor to an Olympic class sailor?
Time on the water! Go to as many events as possible and try to always learn from your sailing.
What are your greatest passions outside of sailing?
I love all types of sport but also piano

? I follow the football a bit but mainly athletics

Touch wood no!

Breaking masts….not cheap!
