Application and Reference Forms 

The new online application system, reference, assessment and Data Protection forms for prospective RYA race officials. The forms for IRO, IU and IJ Recommendation by the RYA to ISAF can also be found here.

 

 

Instructions before you start:

• You will need to enter ALL events that you have taken part in during the last 4 years.
• Entry of data can be tedious but it is important that it is complete. We suggest that you have all data to hand before commencing the application.  Data cannot be saved and must be entered completely in one sitting. Click this link and see what data is required.
• If you have any problems or questions on completing the application  or other enquiries relating to race officials' qualifications please email  Jacqui Roberts or ring Jacqui on 023 8060 4161.

If necessary an application form can be emailed to you for completion.

 

In order to become an ISAF International Race Officer, the RYA must recommend the individual for the appointment.  The application form to receive that recommendation is also below.

What happens next?

Following submission of your Regional Application, the expected timescale for approval is 6 weeks.  If any further information is required the Race Officials Administrator will contact you.

National Applications are approved at the Race Management Committee Meeting.  These are held on a quarterly basis and the Race Officials Administrator will advise you of the next meeting date upon receipt of your application.
