The shorter courses and activities will give you a chance to see Barcelona’ skyline from the big blue, aboard a yacht. Other courses and activities will take you further afield and give you a chance to discover the wonderful ports and towns south towards Sitges and Tarragona or the stunning unspoilt rocky coastline, secluded coves and hidden villages, north along the beautiful Costa Brava. For those feeling more intrepid, the Balearic Islands of Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera are accessible for longer passages. Learn to Sail a yacht in Barcelona and the Costa Brava with Lagoon Watersports

If you are new to yachts and want to learn to sail with your first sailing experience from Barcelona in the Med and the Costa Brava then this is a great introduction to sailing for complete beginners, it can also count towards your Competent Crew, which will entail a further 3 days sailing. Course content includes:

This RYA Competent Crew learn to sail course from Barcelona is a ‘hands on’ practical course that teaches you the basic principles of sailing, as well as personal safety. You will learn basic:

Barcelona Yacht Charter - Bareboat or Skippered

 We charter our Bavaria 37 sailboat from Barcelona or the Costa Brava. Whether you want a relaxing day charter off the coast of Barcelona taking in the sights of the city and soaking up the sun or you want to go further afield for longer; North to the rugged and beautiful coast of Costa Brava or South to the Costa Dorada towards Sitges and Tarragona. We can tailor the charter to suit you.

Bavaria 37: This boat has three double cabins, a bunk bed in the room, a semi-circular sofa and a bathroom. The fixed table hides a practical cockpit ice box. The boat is equipped for navigation in zone 2 with all the necessary comfort for long journeys.
