Twitter 101
Twitter started with simplicity in mind.
Founded in 2006, Twitter started out as a text message service that allowed users to quickly communicate with a small group. We initially called ourselves “twttr” and @jack, one of our founders, sent out the first Tweet.

Since then, we’ve evolved into a global service but our core value is still to simply bring people closer to their interests.

Twitter is for everyone.
At its core, Twitter is a public forum where anyone can read, write and share messages.
@allaboutlife4 ~ Twitter is for everyone. I liken Twitter to the Universe which has no boundaries. We all have the right to be in it.

Twitter is short and sweet.
Twitter is made up of 140-character messages called Tweets. You can do a lot with 140 characters like include videos and photos. It’s an easy way to bring you closer to the people and topics you care about.

Twitter is real-time.
On Twitter, information is shared immediately. People use it on desktops, tablets and mobile devices, to share events, news and real-time conversations.
Twitter is probably the most effective social media tool for real-time communication. Target market & client inclusive.

Twitter connects you to your customers like never before.
People also turn to Twitter to talk about your business and your industry. This gives you powerful context to connect directly with present and future customers in real time.
