Indexes & Data

We track data through several different tracking studies

IMRG compiles and analyses data with leading consultancy Capgemini for our e-Retail and m-Retail Sales Indexes and Quarterly Benchmarking. We collate key data from our wide network of retailers in order to conduct trend analysis and track how the key drivers of e-commerce are performing. As well as tracking the total market, we cover monthly sector-specific key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average basket values and conversion rates.

Through our Quarterly Benchmarking we provide our members with insights into 40 additional KPIs, including basket and checkout abandonment rates, visitor bounce rates and ROI across different channels.

We also work with leading management platform Metapack to produce the IMRG Metapack UK Delivery Index. In this report we measure changes in the volume of parcel deliveries around the UK, as well as the proportion of deliveries going abroad and the levels of customer satisfaction.

Want to become a contributor to our Indexes?

There are currently well over 100 retailers contributing to the IMRG Indexes. Security is our primary concern and our systems ensure that all data is kept secure and confidential at all times. Retailers who supply data to our Indexes receive additional reporting to benchmark their perfomance against their peers, as well as discounts from their annual membership fees. We also supply information at a market sector level.

Find out how you can become a contributor to the IMRG Indexes through one of the links below.
