INTERNATIONAL TROLLEY GRAND PRIX
There are two races, a Junior Race and a Senior Race.
The International Trolley Grand Prix features teams of mechanics and drivers competing in their Formula One trolleys.
Track Instructions
Each team consists of a mechanic, a driver and a Marks & Spencer trolley. All mechanics start from the pits outside Rock Fish on the South Embankment with a five litre empty can. At the start of the race they run and collect water from the refuelling tank, and back to their Formula One trolley on the Boatfloat Bridge. They pour the water into the trolley’s
fuel tank. Drivers then push their trolleys around the course at speed. It is the mechanic’s responsibility to keep the fuel tanks filled with water taken from the refuelling tank. If the tank is emptied the team must stop or be disqualified. The winner is the first over the finish line.
Junior Race 14 years and under, 1 lap
