The line-up for Regatta Rock this year – on Wednesday August 29 - really has something for everyone.
Stars of the night are Jake and Elwood with their extraordinary Blues Brothers Review. This amazing show not only provides top-class blues and soul music – with a bit of rock ‘roll added for good measure – courtesy of an 11-piece band, it also is very funny to boot! Anyone who has seen a Blues Brothers Review will be very keen to see it again and those who haven’t, well, you really haven’t lived until you have sung – and danced – to Flip, Flop, Fly!
Keeping in line with Regatta’s aim to bring great talent to the town but also provide a stage for local musicians, the Rock will also feature highly-acclaimed band Pheonix who will be supported by duo Mitch and Mace. DJ Colin Leslie from Palm FM completes the evening’s entertainment. Between them, there will be music from all eras and all genres.
To make sure of being inside the Marquee and part of the fun – not outside wishing you’d heeded advice and bought your ticket early – please don’t delay buying your tickets. They will be on sale from June 1 at the Royal Castle Hotel, Dartmouth. But, pre-bookings will be taken by email at music@dartmouthregatta.co.uk
