Former Conservative Minister Anna Soubry backs Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer for Prime Minister

Definitely seems noteworthy that a former minister is backing a Labour leader to be Prime Minister. Lots to discuss in terms of whether this is a positive thing or a negative thing (my view is that it is a positive thing) and whether these sort of endorsments are likely to improve Labour's polling or favour with Tory voters.

Anna Soubry confirms my story from yesterday. Change’s 5 MPs will not vote for any govt led by Corbyn and doesn’t commit to even supporting a no confidence motion.
