Love that man

Anybody else go to the Iron & Wine/Andrew Bird concert tonight at Rabbit Rabbit? The audio was terrible, the opener while clearly talented should not have been playing on that big of stage, same for Iron and Wine. It took 45 minutes between opener set and Iron and Wine set give in point it took only 15 minutes to set up but we were left waiting and waiting for the artist to arrive. Finally after a half assed set, we waited 20 more minutes and then told to evacuate because of thunderstorms. Were told the show would convene later on the evening, but an hour later they canceled Andrew Bird's performance with no indication of re-schedule or refunds. After many comments on their social media demanding for refunds they disabled their comments and refuse any answers. Had it not taken so long between sets we would have seen the Headliner.

SUBLIME -

With the lineup reveal less than two weeks away, I’ll throw my wish in with everyone else’s: Andrew Bird. Since he still has Outside Problems tour dates through the beginning of March, it wouldn’t seem out of the realm of possibility to get Andrew back on the farm this year. I saw the show in Asheville last March. It was fantastic. He’s always great. Perfect for a late afternoon Saturday or Sunday slot on Which. Fingers crossed.

Just a short funny story. I binge watched Fargo Season 3 (correction: it’s actually Season 4) over the span of 3 days. I just watched the final episode and just happened to catch “Andrew Bird” in the credits and I almost fell out of my chair. I only listen to artists passionately. I usually know nothing about them. Once I saw his name however I felt like an idiot I had not recognized him.

Now to the questions:

Does he do a lot of acting? I could google but I like good excuses for human interaction.

Has anyone heard any background on why he was chosen for the role?

Finally, that HAD to be him whistling throughout the season right? You don’t dare have Andrew Bird on your show and have someone else whistle!

Hi, I’m going to my first Andrew bird concert (yay!) and I have major concert anxiety. I was wondering what the crowd looks like for Andrew bird concerts? Like what’s the general age group, should I worry abt theft, lgbtq+ friendly, stuff like that. If anyone has an answer that’d be great, thanks!! :))
