AMD Radeon RX 6600 more economical than GeForce GTX 1660 Super for 1080p gaming?

I am trying to build a PC that is sub-$800 if possible. Currently, I am looking for the best bang for buck graphics card. Based on my research I was considering the GTX 1660 Super, and I could buy that used for $135 (price+tax) from a local seller with great reviews. My alternative is to buy the RX 6600 for $200 (price+tax) from another local seller with great reviews. I will be playing older titles (mid 2000s - mid 2010s), the occasional new AAA game, as well as some multiplayer shooters such as COD: Warzone. My monitor is a 24" Samsung @ 1080p, 75Hz that is being donated to me by a family member.

With these details, what would be the most economical option?

EDIT: I had done some research on Tom's Hardware that showed that the 6600 (117.8 avg fps) performs considerably better in 1080p with Medium settings than the 1660 Super (82.8 avg fps). Is this worth the extra cost? And how would the compare in terms of longevity/ability to play newer releases?

Which GPU is best for Affinity Designer - Nvidia RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at building a PC so that I can run a design business from home. I'm looking to make sure it's fairly powerful and will last me a good decade or so, being able to handle almost whatever I throw at it. My designer files can feature an absolute tonne of shapes and multiple canvases, so I'd really like to know if anyone with either of the GPUs in the title has any comments about their experience they could share with me?

I'm more inclined to go with the AMD Radeon RX 6600 instead of the Nvidia RTX 3060 due to price, however, I have heard there are issues with hardware acceleration and thus speed when using Affinity products. Is this true?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance :-)
