I wanna try and be historical, but I wanna try and avoid the worst of the great purge or prevent it entirely
By that I mean the one with the most horrid events in its focus tree, like genocide.
I am bad at the game. How do i win the Russian civil war, as I can’t seem to win it? Any good strategies?
I haven't really seen anyone ask this question, so I'll be the one to do it. Logically speaking, why can't the player delete forts and railways? Like, I know you can bomb them, but that doesn't remove them permanently. I also know about the classic decisions to remove the Maginot line and the Sudeten forts, but even that only reduces it to level 2. So, why might that be the case?
I got 10 hours and played random nations (Turkey Mexico, US and Germany) but still haven't learned anything about the game The most I've done was just progress through the skill tree and research stuff But ive never done anything regarding attacking/defending or anything relating to military I have no dlc at all if this info is useful
you can also release the colonies as indepenpendent nations
WHY IS IT SO DAMN TERRIBLE? LIKE WHY AM I DOING 2 FOCUSES WORTH 140 DAYS FOR JUST MERE 2 LVL 1 RAILWAY LINES WHEN I CAN BUILD IT MYSELF IN 14 DAYS? WHERE IS THE INDUSTRY? GOT A GRAMD TOTAL OF 1 MIL IN ENTIRE FOCUS TREE. WHERE AND HOW DO I IMPROVE STABI BY GOING ALT? WHERE ARE MY FACTORIES AFTER PAK CIVIL WAR? WHY AM I STILL A MINOR AFTER 2 MILLION STRONG ARMY? WHEN WILL ALLIES ATOP NAVAL INVADING? WHY DOES FOCUS TREE IMPROVE NAVAL BASE BY MERE 1 LVL AND JUS GIVE ME 1 DOCKYARD AND I HAVE TO DO 2 OF THEM
So i have base game hoi4 and over 100 hours on it but i still cannot figure out how carrier fighters work like do i produce them and they just automatically go to the carrier and carry out missions? Also which is better in base game CAS or strategic bombing? Ive used both and they both feel like they are doing the same thing
After occupy germany with or without a collaboration governement all of france, netherland, belgium and luxemburg goes back to them. Without a single allied troop on the continent except maybe in italy (occupied by me for the 90%) Also i wish to know why in this exactly scenario i have only few points to spare in the peace talks. I can't even puppet germany if i don't do a collaboration governement early.
Edit: im playing the soviet
What is the general consensus on how helpful they are for pushing? Leaning more single player as I’m sure it’s not meta for multiplayer.
