The fact that most Algo holders are currently soft locked into governance to receive their rewards may play into that solid price action.

In addition to that I also don't understand the panic selling if nothing directly impacts the longevity of your coins or crypto in general.

If you still believe in the project and the fundamentals haven't changed why would you sell your coins (if you don't need the money atm ofc). Taking profits is fine but I would never sell at a loss with solid projects like Algo.

Even if tether goes boom in the next months I will just hodl - yes there will be a big correction maybe bc all assets are blown out of proportion in this 2 last years.

But I will use this opportunity to stack some more - fear and greed index is very heavy weighted to the fear side which is normally the best time to buy - so I just DCA steadily into my favorite projects without any worries :) as always not financial advice just my personal experience.

Selling would be crazy when you consider the governance rewards. Unless you’re taking profit for a specific reason, your best bet is to sit tight and add to your position wherever possible.

Governance tends to make selling make less sense. We all want those end of the month Governance rewards. Personally, I would not sell anyway, since I am committed to the ALGO/YLDY ecosystem.

We may see some selling pressure on price right when the first governance period ends. But frankly, these short-term price moves are unimportant.

With algo you should be getting double digit returns with either staking/governance or with yieldly. With the next governance period starting up it makes sense to stock up. If we see a bull market soon, expect algo to lag behind. Algo is a 5-10 year project.

I like what I have seen in algo. I bought some a while back and just held it in the wallet for yield but a few months back started using tinyman and yieldly and I have to say I love it. Super cheap to move money around, cheap swaps and easy to provide liquidity, good staking rewards, no loss lottery, etc. They are just starting to blossom IMO. I have loaded up over the past few months.
