The Philadelphia 76ers have clinched the 1st seed in the Eastern Conference (self.nba)

With their win over the Orlando Magic putting them at 48-23, the Sixers have secured the first seed. While the Nets can still tie their record, the Sixers hold the tie breaker over them. This is the Sixers first time being the 1st seed as well as winning the Atlantic Division since the 2000-2001 season.
