Anyone invested in Tezos for the past months? I'm deciding if I want to buy a bit or not

[–]alt_account6Tin 9 points10 points  (8 children)

my initial 5 dollars turned into 15 in like 2 months, tbh buy it if your gonna stake it, if not dont

[–]Di_eselPlatinum | QC: CC 42 -1 points0 points  (6 children)

I believe it stakes automatically

[–]Tarskin_Tarscales -1 points0 points  (5 children)

Nope

[–]Di_eselPlatinum | QC: CC 42 0 points1 point  (4 children)

On CB it does

[–]Tarskin_Tarscales -3 points-2 points  (3 children)

That's not staking.... Your statement implies that just by having the coin it would give staking rewards which is offcourse not true. You have to either run a baker or delegate to one.

Rather, your exchange does this service for you, it is not something innate to the crypto.

[–]Di_eselPlatinum | QC: CC 42 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Well then it is true if you hold on an exchange... you could've simply said this to begin with rather than just disagreeing with me off the bat when I asked a question lol. Great approach

[–]Tarskin_Tarscales -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Eh? You didn't ask a question, you said something which was wrong.

[–]Di_eselPlatinum | QC: CC 42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I stand corrected. I said ***I believe it does. Doesn't make u any less of a douche

[–]CryptDroPlatinum | QC: CC 643, XTZ 106, BTC 22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. In my opinion, XTZ is primed for big moves. It has always had the implementation, it’s been developing, and recently a lot of awareness through marketing efforts. With the recent attention and price rise of Tez, I feel the time is now. Check out Plenty DeFi and Hic Et Nunc NFT market.

[–]Local-SessionPlatinum | QC: CC 577 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got some. As well as the pump, gets between 4.5 and 5.5% interest while staking, which isn't bad

[–]MoldyCheeseyPlatinum | QC: ETH 347, CC 309 | TraderSubs 347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use mine as a placeholder for future buys…get the decent staking rewards while it sits there.

[–]Character-Dot-4078Platinum | QC: CC 535, ETH 45, BTC 44 | ADA 7 | MiningSubs 39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i moved in around 5.50, havent been sad. lol

[–]RandomTask100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wanting to get in so I traded my recent Coinbase Learn&Earn $ to Tezos. Now I got about .5XTZ

[–]SalzlandanTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didnt just invest, i have been staking it in the SYLO smart wallet to get weekly rewards, so i am fully loaded.

[–]DystopianFigurePoons for Moons 12 points13 points  (1 child)

So you have one paragraph about the coin and the rest is about smart contract and PoW. Doesn't really help. I want to at least see:

  • roadmap
  • who has adopted it
  • how to create smart contract on it
  • link to some defi projects on it
  • how to participate in governance
  • best places to stake/open LPs and why
  • Tokenomics
  • market performance/analysis

One paragraph and a couple of pros and cons doesn't help with knowing the crypto. Anyone can read the same and even get more info on coingecko or hundreds of other coin info sites. You need some more analysis to stand out.

You also didn't provide any source for your storing recommendations (why store on those wallets?) or any of your pros and cons (why do you think they have great devs? Who has adopted?). This is not really research, it's more like your personal opinion.

Go research yourself lazy ass

[–]langbangPlatinum | QC: CC 211, XTZ 26 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Love tezos and all the projects that have been coming out. Plenty defi is clean and lucrative, objkt for NFTS, youves for leverage and minting synthetic assets. Very undervalued IMHO, and has a bright future (hopefully).

[–]CryptDroPlatinum | QC: CC 643, XTZ 106, BTC 22 7 points8 points  (2 children)

I’ve been trying out Crunchy, SpaceFarm, and Kalamint as well. It’s all working great.

[–]langbangPlatinum | QC: CC 211, XTZ 26 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I'm still trying to figure out youves to be honest, it is a little bit of a learning curve for sure, but I think it is poising itself to be a foundation for institutional adoption down the road.

[–]CryptDroPlatinum | QC: CC 643, XTZ 106, BTC 22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have not tried Youves yet. I did check out Kolibri in the early days. There is just so much going on! Hope you figure out Youves and practice 1 by 1. Important to know how things work for our futures.

Buying Tezos on payday

[–]CryptDroPlatinum | QC: CC 643, XTZ 106, BTC 22 8 points9 points  (3 children)

I don’t think a con is lack of DeFi? Plenty DeFi has been building constantly since day 1 and has recently launched its own AMM swaps with PlentyX staking. TVL growing to $65M+. Crunchy is a DeFi as a service where many farms/pools could be launched. Quipuswap DEX has always worked flawlessly. Plus now, Tezos has SpaceFarm with Flame, AliensFarm with Paul, and recently launched DApps all coming online.

Nice part is they don’t necessarily compete with each other on Tezos, instead they compliment each other. With the recent attention and price rise of XTZ, I feel a lot of these DApps will have huge potential being 1st movers in the ecosystem.

[–]sponge_hitler9 / 5K 🦐 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Yeah I wanted to say the same thing. I even made a series of posts talking about DeFi gems there. Its starting out now

[–]CryptDroPlatinum | QC: CC 643, XTZ 106, BTC 22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw those! Awesome. I agree, it is starting off and on the right track.

[–]hermitkrrrabTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not DeFi dapps but the lack of participation in DeFi, if you check the TVL of those projects it's quite low. There needs to be more liquidity in Tezos.

[–]newbonsite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get baking those tezos...

[–]somethingknew123 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Temple and Kukai wallets are the most popular in the tezos ecosystem.

Every reddit, google and facebook user already has a tezos wallet and can login to their wallet using Kukai's DirectAuth feature.

[–]hermitkrrrabTin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are actually the best wallets for Tezos which get continous upgrade and are Tezos-first.

[–]upboatsnhoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guarda wallet also makes staking XTZ super easy from the wallet!

Thats the only thing I'd add. Its great!

Love XTZ
