While some snaffle hallucinogens to crawl around the kitchen for an hour or twelve, others are using and abusing those crazy chemicals for a deeper experience. This lush site is crammed with the ravings of such self-made shamans as Timothy Leary and Terence McKenna (yawn...) with homespun theorizing on just how your DNA (and mushrooms) is the key to unlocking the evolutionary door. Entertaining and illuminating reading, but before you take any of this to heart, remember that it was Leary who tried to levitate the White House by circling it with a bunch of acid-addled hippies. (Note: Actually it was Abbie Hoffman who tried to Levitate the Pentagon with thousands of anti-war protesters.)

We have yet to hit a link on this exhaustive site that wasn't interesting. It impressively combines education with entertainment on stuff "they" might not want you to know, in a mix of science, sociology, subversive culture, LSD, physics and even the history of thought crimes, starting with that troublesome Galileo.

All of long with long discourses on shamanism, various philosophies and a bit of sound from the 1,000-arm audio Buddha. We must say, the creator also includes some of the most interesting link lists we've found on the Web.
