Lmao do you think I started using multiple alarms right out of the gate? No, fuckface, I begrudgingly set up multiple alarms only because one wasn't getting me up in time. I don't have time to be lazy or force myself out of bed in the few seconds of hazy quarter-consciousness I have before I fall back asleep after the first alarm. Waking up is miserable, waking up several times is worse, but we do what we have to in order to meet our obligations. I started living with a roommate and bought a shock watch to reduce the noise out of consideration, but I still cannot wake up right away even with the damn thing set to maximum pain. For the first week of owing it I TRIED to get up on the first alarm, but getting to work an hour late made me set up multiple alarms again.
