Just trying to think of ways to jumpstart the Bama offense, and the key thing seems to be a change at OC. Brian Ferentz seems the man to get things done.
Bama's offense is scoring 32.3 points per game, compared to Iowa's 28.3 per game. But while Alabama is slightly outperforming Iowa's offense, you have to account for the quality of opponent's defense. Alabama lost to Texas, who's allowing only 14.7 points per game. But Iowa beat juggernaut Iowa State, who's allowing only 13 ppg.
On top of that, you have to account for talent level. Alabama has 35 different 4 or 5* players on offense, including major blue chip recruits like Tyler Buchner. Iowa only has seven. Brian Ferentz is simply doing more with less.
