    Great news! The is set to receive a $96M grant from the DoD to fully replace & expand Mokapu Elementary. I toured the existing school & planned expansion site where I talked with Principal Almanza about the necessity to support a growing student population in the area.

    I visited the Lāhainā Harbor to inspect the ongoing improvement project to build a new pier, gangway & admin office. Updating Hawaiʻi’s infrastructure is critical to our economy. This is why we passed the $2.8B IIJA, which will lay the groundwork to meet our infrastructure needs.
