THE ANOINTING OF DAVID
A restored perspective
.
Around 1000 BC there were facts that would affect the future of humanity with great effects for the good of our families and of many. These are:

Samuel the prophet was led by the Lord to Bethlehem. He visited a family headed by Jesse. See 1 Samuel 16
.
1 And the LORD said unto Samuel… fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Beth-lehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.
.
7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS ANOINTING?
.
First David received power from on high, this is a royal priesthood.
All power that descends from God to man is a priesthood.
.
This power continued from royal blood and brought the kings and their descendants in Israel and Judah in the past. By this power the princes performed some ordinances before the Lord in the temple.
.
The exercise of this priesthood was interrupted in 600 BC approximately when Zedekiah the last king was killed, along with all his sons, says the biblical record. (2 Kings 25: 7). it was the time of the beginning of the story of the Book of Mormon.
.
There are many prophecies concerning the restoration of this power in the last days and the Lord will raise once again "a royal prince" with the authority of the kings of Israel. (Ezekiel 37: 25)
.
And this prince with the People of the Lord will establish the kingdom of Zion or New Jerusalem by "right to by lineage" as in Doctrine and Covenants establishes. (D & C 113: 8). The lineage of king David.

Zion will be a political kingdom (not the church) which will appear in the future, in other words a new independent and sovereign nation.
.
11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof (I heal his wounds); and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: Amos 9: 11.

THE KEY OF DAVID, is a power that is transmitted by blood
.
Jesus Christ was known as the “Son of David”, which implies a sacred title of the kings of Israel. The power of this priesthood is described in the book of Isaiah and is called “The Key of David”:
.
22 And the Key of the House of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. Isaiah 22: 21-23
.
A POWER THAT WILL NEVER END
.
When it says “transmitted by blood” it means that today there are descendants of this lineage among us and soon will emerge into the light (D & C 86: 8-11). They will restore in the future the Royal House of David, with kings and queens, princes and princesses of a chosen house, and will establish in the Americas, the Nation-State of Zion with the Lord's people. (3 Nephi 21: 23-25)
The scriptures tell us that this power is eternal:

19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. Jeremiah 33: 15-22

The scriptures tell us that "the new prince" will perform in the future, rites and sacred ordinances BEFORE THE LORD in the Temple of Jerusalem.
(Ezequiel 44: 3 y Ezequiel 45: 17 y 22).

A new king will come in the future by means of the power of God. His name will be "David The Branch"
(Zacariah 6: 12-13 and Ezekiel 34: 22-24) See Jeremiah 33: 15-22

FINAL WORDS
May we wait with joy for the restoration of this priesthood and power in these latter days. And we may know with a certainty that the Royal House of David will be restored soon by the power of God.
And these signs we will see. And another sign we will see in the future, the grand Zion, the New Jerusalem will be established by blood, and by means of the royal lineage of David, in the Americas.
So be it. And so it will, because these are the preparations for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to Earth.

Nathaniel Parker
Nathaniel Parker (born 18 May 1962) is a versatile, Olivier Award winning, Tony nominated, English stage and screen actor best known for playing Detective Inspector Thomas "Tommy" Lynley in the BBC crime drama series The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.
Education
Parker joined the National Youth Theatre, and after training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1986.
Career
Stage
Parker portrayed Bassanio in Peter Hall's 1989 production of The Merchant of Venice in both London and on Broadway, co-starring with Dustin Hoffman.
In 2000, he played Bob in Rupert Goold's West End revival of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow.
Parker returned to the stage in 2013 for the Westend production of The Audience, starring Dame Helen Mirren, written by Peter Morgan (The Queen) and directed by Stephen Daldry. The play ran for four months at the Gielgud Theatre in London. It was also transmitted worldwide via National Theatre Live and was seen by more than 110,000 viewers in the UK and USA alone.

A restored perspective

Around 1000 BC there were facts that would affect the future of humanity with great effects for the good of our families and of many. These are:
.
Samuel the prophet was led by the Lord to Bethlehem. He visited a family headed by Jesse. See 1 Samuel 16
.
1 And the LORD said unto Samuel… fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Beth-lehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.
.
7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
.
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.
.
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS ANOINTING?
.
First David received power from on high, this is a royal priesthood.
All power that descends from God to man is a priesthood.
.
This power continued from royal blood and brought the kings and their descendants in Israel and Judah in the past. By this power the princes performed some ordinances before the Lord in the temple.
.
The exercise of this priesthood was interrupted in 600 BC approximately when Zedekiah the last king was killed, along with all his sons, says the biblical record. (2 Kings 25: 7). it was the time of the beginning of the story of the Book of Mormon.
.
There are many prophecies concerning the restoration of this power in the last days and the Lord will raise once again "a royal prince" with the authority of the kings of Israel. (Ezekiel 37: 25)
.
And this prince with the People of the Lord will establish the kingdom of Zion or New Jerusalem by "right to by lineage" as in Doctrine and Covenants establishes. (D & C 113: 8). The lineage of king David.
.
Zion will be a political kingdom (not the church) which will appear in the future, in other words a new independent and sovereign nation.
.
11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof (I heal his wounds); and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: Amos 9: 11.
.

THE KEY OF DAVID, is a power that is transmitted by blood
.
Jesus Christ was known as the “Son of David”, which implies a sacred title of the kings of Israel. The power of this priesthood is described in the book of Isaiah and is called “The Key of David”:
.
22 And the Key of the House of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. Isaiah 22: 21-23
.
A POWER THAT WILL NEVER END
.
When it says “transmitted by blood” it means that today there are descendants of this lineage among us and soon will emerge into the light (D & C 86: 8-11). They will restore in the future the Royal House of David, with kings and queens, princes and princesses of a chosen house, and will establish in the Americas, the Nation-State of Zion with the Lord's people. (3 Nephi 21: 23-25)
The scriptures tell us that this power is eternal:

19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
.
20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
.
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
.
22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. Jeremiah 33: 15-22
.
The scriptures tell us that "the new prince" will perform in the future, rites and sacred ordinances BEFORE THE LORD in the Temple of Jerusalem.
(Ezequiel 44: 3 y Ezequiel 45: 17 y 22).

A new king will come in the future by means of the power of God. His name will be "David The Branch"
(Zacariah 6: 12-13 and Ezekiel 34: 22-24) See Jeremiah 33: 15-22
.
FINAL WORDS
May we wait with joy for the restoration of this priesthood and power in these latter days. And we may know with a certainty that the Royal House of David will be restored soon by the power of God.
And these signs we will see. And another sign we will see in the future, the grand Zion, the New Jerusalem will be established by blood, and by means of the royal lineage of David, in the Americas.
So be it. And so it will, because these are the preparations for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to Earth.

A restored perspective

Around 1000 BC there were facts that would affect the future of humanity with great effects for the good of our families and of many. These are:
.
Samuel the prophet was led by the Lord to Bethlehem. He visited a family headed by Jesse. See 1 Samuel 16
.
1 And the LORD said unto Samuel… fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Beth-lehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.
.
7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
.
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS ANOINTING?
.
First David received power from on high, this is a royal priesthood.
All power that descends from God to man is a priesthood.
.
This power continued from royal blood and brought the kings and their descendants in Israel and Judah in the past. By this power the princes performed some ordinances before the Lord in the temple.
.
The exercise of this priesthood was interrupted in 600 BC approximately when Zedekiah the last king was killed, along with all his sons, says the biblical record. (2 Kings 25: 7). it was the time of the beginning of the story of the Book of Mormon.
.
There are many prophecies concerning the restoration of this power in the last days and the Lord will raise once again "a royal prince" with the authority of the kings of Israel. (Ezekiel 37: 25)
.
And this prince with the People of the Lord will establish the kingdom of Zion or New Jerusalem by "right to by lineage" as in Doctrine and Covenants establishes. (D & C 113: 8). The lineage of king David.
.
Zion will be a political kingdom (not the church) which will appear in the future, in other words a new independent and sovereign nation.
.
11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof (I heal his wounds); and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: Amos 9: 11.
.

THE KEY OF DAVID, is a power that is transmitted by blood
.
Jesus Christ was known as the “Son of David”, which implies a sacred title of the kings of Israel. The power of this priesthood is described in the book of Isaiah and is called “The Key of David”:
.
22 And the Key of the House of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. Isaiah 22: 21-23
.
A POWER THAT WILL NEVER END
.
When it says “transmitted by blood” it means that today there are descendants of this lineage among us and soon will emerge into the light (D & C 86: 8-11). They will restore in the future the Royal House of David, with kings and queens, princes and princesses of a chosen house, and will establish in the Americas, the Nation-State of Zion with the Lord's people. (3 Nephi 21: 23-25)
The scriptures tell us that this power is eternal:

19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
.
20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
.
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
.
22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. Jeremiah 33: 15-22
.
The scriptures tell us that "the new prince" will perform in the future, rites and sacred ordinances BEFORE THE LORD in the Temple of Jerusalem.
(Ezequiel 44: 3 y Ezequiel 45: 17 y 22).

A new king will come in the future by means of the power of God. His name will be "David The Branch"
(Zacariah 6: 12-13 and Ezekiel 34: 22-24) See Jeremiah 33: 15-22
.
FINAL WORDS
May we wait with joy for the restoration of this priesthood and power in these latter days. And we may know with a certainty that the Royal House of David will be restored soon by the power of God.
And these signs we will see. And another sign we will see in the future, the grand Zion, the New Jerusalem will be established by blood, and by means of the royal lineage of David, in the Americas.
So be it. And so it will, because these are the preparations for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to Earth.

Nathaniel Parker
Nathaniel Parker (born 18 May 1962) is a versatile, Olivier Award winning, Tony nominated, English stage and screen actor best known for playing Detective Inspector Thomas "Tommy" Lynley in the BBC crime drama series The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.
Education
Parker joined the National Youth Theatre, and after training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1986.
Career
Stage
Parker portrayed Bassanio in Peter Hall's 1989 production of The Merchant of Venice in both London and on Broadway, co-starring with Dustin Hoffman.
In 2000, he played Bob in Rupert Goold's West End revival of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow.
Parker returned to the stage in 2013 for the Westend production of The Audience, starring Dame Helen Mirren, written by Peter Morgan (The Queen) and directed by Stephen Daldry. The play ran for four months at the Gielgud Theatre in London. It was also transmitted worldwide via National Theatre Live and was seen by more than 110,000 viewers in the UK and USA alone.
