Seriously, is everyone in Utah Mormon?
We’ll answer those questions and more. So, grab your mountain bike and your BOM, we’re gonna unbox the state of Utah!
Open: Oh a Mormon church. Or a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is a very important part of Utah’s culture. But it’s also very private. Like if you’re not Mormon, YOU can’t go inside. But Mormons say it’s not about secret. It’s about sacred. The Mormon church is a mystery to a lot of people, and a very uniquely American religion. Members of the mormon faith are aware that they are sometimes seen as a source of mystery and suspicion. The membership numbers for the LDS are shrinking, and today, about 1.7% of America’s population is Mormon. That’s about the same number as the Jewish population.
Yes, it’s true that Mormons have a big influence on the politics and everything else in the state, but this whole state isn’t Mormon. Sorta. In order to get a well rounded view of the state of Utah we need to get out of the church and out of the home and head out into the rest of the state and see what else is going on. Only then can we truly know what it’s like to live in Utah.
This is Utah. As you’ll see, most of the population is in the Salt Lake City metro area, and that area is growing super fast. There’s also a lot of other stuff going on in Utah, though, especially when it comes to exploring the outdoors. Utah is a very interesting state, and there’s something different around every corner.
We’re going to begin here in Southwest Utah. Now southern utah is one of the prettiest if not the prettiest part of Utah. Right here along the Arizona border are many of Utah’s national parks, touristy towns and St. George.

What's it like living in Salt Lake City? Well, the air quality here is awful with Winter inversions and the elevation is higher than most cities at 4,300 feet above sea level. It's located right next to the gorgeous Wasatch range of the Rocky Mountains, and if you like to ski, the world famous Park City is only 40 minutes away! The weather is almost never too cold but there is a lot of snow and it's also very hot and dry in the Summer. SLC is the largest city in Utah, and along with Ogden, Provo, Orem, St George, and other secluded mountain towns, one of the best cities to live in America, especially if you're Mormon! A lot of people are moving from California and the natural population is increasing dramatically too, making the metropolitan area one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. If the Beehive State is an underrated & beautiful state, why shouldn't you live in Salt Lake City, UT?

Sunday evening drive through Arches National Park in the western US State of Utah. My new favorite National Park! I hope to film some of these with a 360 camera soon! I've never seen anything like this park before. I hope you all get the chance to visit in person!

Arches National Park is a national park in eastern Utah, United States. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. More than 2,000 natural sandstone arches are located in the park, including the well-known Delicate Arch, as well as a variety of unique geological resources and formations. The park contains the highest density of natural arches in the world.
The park consists of 76,679 acres (119.811 sq mi; 31,031 ha; 310.31 km2) of high desert located on the Colorado Plateau. The highest elevation in the park is 5,653 feet (1,723 m) at Elephant Butte, and the lowest elevation is 4,085 feet (1,245 m) at the visitor center. The park receives an average of less than 10 inches (250 mm) of rain annually.
Administered by the National Park Service, the area was originally named a national monument on April 12, 1929, and was redesignated as a national park on November 12, 1971. The park received more than 1.6 million visitors in 2018.

Are you wondering what it's like to live in Utah as a non-mormon? Well, in this video I break it all down for you!
I do have to make a few disclaimers about this video. This is a video that I put off making for over a year, because I did not want to offend anybody, or give the wrong impression about what it is like to live here. However, this topic kept coming up every single time I would talk to somebody, so I knew I needed to make a video about it.
I tried to base this video off of of facts rather than just my opinion. In fact, I was actually raised as a mormon, but at the age of 16, disconnected from the religion and church altogether, and am no longer part of it. I have seen both sides of it, and feel that I have a pretty accurate perspective on what it is like to live here.
To add another disclaimer, this video is not meant to steer anybody towards or away from an area because of the mormon or LDS religion. As a real estate agent, I have to be extra careful to not be biased in situations like this. This video is in no way meant to be offensive or steer anybody in any direction! It is only informational and educational.

We’ll answer those questions and more. So, grab your mountain bike and your BOM, we’re gonna unbox the state of Utah!
Open: Oh a Mormon church. Or a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is a very important part of Utah’s culture. But it’s also very private. Like if you’re not Mormon, YOU can’t go inside. But Mormons say it’s not about secret. It’s about sacred. The Mormon church is a mystery to a lot of people, and a very uniquely American religion. Members of the mormon faith are aware that they are sometimes seen as a source of mystery and suspicion. The membership numbers for the LDS are shrinking, and today, about 1.7% of America’s population is Mormon. That’s about the same number as the Jewish population.
Yes, it’s true that Mormons have a big influence on the politics and everything else in the state, but this whole state isn’t Mormon. Sorta. In order to get a well rounded view of the state of Utah we need to get out of the church and out of the home and head out into the rest of the state and see what else is going on. Only then can we truly know what it’s like to live in Utah.
This is Utah. As you’ll see, most of the population is in the Salt Lake City metro area, and that area is growing super fast. There’s also a lot of other stuff going on in Utah, though, especially when it comes to exploring the outdoors. Utah is a very interesting state, and there’s something different around every corner.
We’re going to begin here in Southwest Utah. Now southern utah is one of the prettiest if not the prettiest part of Utah. Right here along the Arizona border are many of Utah’s national parks, touristy towns and St. George.

What's it like living in Salt Lake City? Well, the air quality here is awful with Winter inversions and the elevation is higher than most cities at 4,300 feet above sea level. It's located right next to the gorgeous Wasatch range of the Rocky Mountains, and if you like to ski, the world famous Park City is only 40 minutes away! The weather is almost never too cold but there is a lot of snow and it's also very hot and dry in the Summer. SLC is the largest city in Utah, and along with Ogden, Provo, Orem, St George, and other secluded mountain towns, one of the best cities to live in America, especially if you're Mormon! A lot of people are moving from California and the natural population is increasing dramatically too, making the metropolitan area one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. If the Beehive State is an underrated & beautiful state, why shouldn't you live in Salt Lake City, UT?

Arches National Park is a national park in eastern Utah, United States. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. More than 2,000 natural sandstone arches are located in the park, including the well-known Delicate Arch, as well as a variety of unique geological resources and formations. The park contains the highest density of natural arches in the world.
The park consists of 76,679 acres (119.811 sq mi; 31,031 ha; 310.31 km2) of high desert located on the Colorado Plateau. The highest elevation in the park is 5,653 feet (1,723 m) at Elephant Butte, and the lowest elevation is 4,085 feet (1,245 m) at the visitor center. The park receives an average of less than 10 inches (250 mm) of rain annually.
Administered by the National Park Service, the area was originally named a national monument on April 12, 1929, and was redesignated as a national park on November 12, 1971. The park received more than 1.6 million visitors in 2018.

I do have to make a few disclaimers about this video. This is a video that I put off making for over a year, because I did not want to offend anybody, or give the wrong impression about what it is like to live here. However, this topic kept coming up every single time I would talk to somebody, so I knew I needed to make a video about it.
I tried to base this video off of of facts rather than just my opinion. In fact, I was actually raised as a mormon, but at the age of 16, disconnected from the religion and church altogether, and am no longer part of it. I have seen both sides of it, and feel that I have a pretty accurate perspective on what it is like to live here.
To add another disclaimer, this video is not meant to steer anybody towards or away from an area because of the mormon or LDS religion. As a real estate agent, I have to be extra careful to not be biased in situations like this. This video is in no way meant to be offensive or steer anybody in any direction! It is only informational and educational.

We’ll answer those questions and more. So, grab your mountain bike and your BOM, we’re gonna unbox the state of Utah!
Open: Oh a Mormon church. Or a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is a very important part of Utah’s culture. But it’s also very private. Like if you’re not Mormon, YOU can’t go inside. But Mormons say it’s not about secret. It’s about sacred. The Mormon church is a mystery to a lot of people, and a very uniquely American religion. Members of the mormon faith are aware that they are sometimes seen as a source of mystery and suspicion. The membership numbers for the LDS are shrinking, and today, about 1.7% of America’s population is Mormon. That’s about the same number as the Jewish population.
Yes, it’s true that Mormons have a big influence on the politics and everything else in the state, but this whole state isn’t Mormon. Sorta. In order to get a well rounded view of the state of Utah we need to get out of the church and out of the home and head out into the rest of the state and see what else is going on. Only then can we truly know what it’s like to live in Utah.
This is Utah. As you’ll see, most of the population is in the Salt Lake City metro area, and that area is growing super fast. There’s also a lot of other stuff going on in Utah, though, especially when it comes to exploring the outdoors. Utah is a very interesting state, and there’s something different around every corner.
We’re going to begin here in Southwest Utah. Now southern utah is one of the prettiest if not the prettiest part of Utah. Right here along the Arizona border are many of Utah’s national parks, touristy towns and St. George.

What's it like living in Salt Lake City? Well, the air quality here is awful with Winter inversions and the elevation is higher than most cities at 4,300 feet above sea level. It's located right next to the gorgeous Wasatch range of the Rocky Mountains, and if you like to ski, the world famous Park City is only 40 minutes away! The weather is almost never too cold but there is a lot of snow and it's also very hot and dry in the Summer. SLC is the largest city in Utah, and along with Ogden, Provo, Orem, St George, and other secluded mountain towns, one of the best cities to live in America, especially if you're Mormon! A lot of people are moving from California and the natural population is increasing dramatically too, making the metropolitan area one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. If the Beehive State is an underrated & beautiful state, why shouldn't you live in Salt Lake City, UT?

Arches National Park is a national park in eastern Utah, United States. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. More than 2,000 natural sandstone arches are located in the park, including the well-known Delicate Arch, as well as a variety of unique geological resources and formations. The park contains the highest density of natural arches in the world.
The park consists of 76,679 acres (119.811 sq mi; 31,031 ha; 310.31 km2) of high desert located on the Colorado Plateau. The highest elevation in the park is 5,653 feet (1,723 m) at Elephant Butte, and the lowest elevation is 4,085 feet (1,245 m) at the visitor center. The park receives an average of less than 10 inches (250 mm) of rain annually.
Administered by the National Park Service, the area was originally named a national monument on April 12, 1929, and was redesignated as a national park on November 12, 1971. The park received more than 1.6 million visitors in 2018.

Are you wondering what it's like to live in Utah as a non-mormon? Well, in this video I break it all down for you!
I do have to make a few disclaimers about this video. This is a video that I put off making for over a year, because I did not want to offend anybody, or give the wrong impression about what it is like to live here. However, this topic kept coming up every single time I would talk to somebody, so I knew I needed to make a video about it.
I tried to base this video off of of facts rather than just my opinion. In fact, I was actually raised as a mormon, but at the age of 16, disconnected from the religion and church altogether, and am no longer part of it. I have seen both sides of it, and feel that I have a pretty accurate perspective on what it is like to live here.
To add another disclaimer, this video is not meant to steer anybody towards or away from an area because of the mormon or LDS religion. As a real estate agent, I have to be extra careful to not be biased in situations like this. This video is in no way meant to be offensive or steer anybody in any direction! It is only informational and educational.

Utah (/ˈjuːtɔː/ or i/ˈjuːtɑː/; Navajo: Áshįįh bi Tó Hahoodzo; Arapaho: Wo'tééneihí ) is a state in the western United States. It became the 45th state admitted to the Union on January 4, 1896. Utah is the 13th-largest, the 31st-most populous, and the 10th-least-densely populated of the 50 United States. Utah has a population of nearly 3 million (Census estimate for July 1, 2015), approximately 80% of whom live along the Wasatch Front, centering on Salt Lake City. Utah is bordered by Colorado to the east, Wyoming to the northeast, Idaho to the north, Arizona to the south, and Nevada to the west. It also touches a corner of New Mexico in the southeast.
Approximately 62% of Utahns are reported to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or LDS (Mormons), which greatly influences Utah culture and daily life. The world headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) is located in Utah's state capital, Salt Lake City. Utah is the most religiously homogeneous state in the United States, the only state with a Mormon majority, and the only state with a majority population belonging to a single church.
