    Subhash Bose once held the office of Mayor of Kolkata, now tarnished by the likes of Bobby Hakim, Sovan Chattopadhyay, Subrata Mukhopadyay, all of who have held the office, and are now in jail. Coincidentally, Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya, another former Mayor defended CBI action.

    Are states under reporting Covid deaths? Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government certainly is. The apparent discrepancy is over 4,500 deaths. Imagine what the number could be once a proper audit is done. Kejriwal is anyway scared of audits and truth emerging. Oxygen or otherwise.

    पिछली लहर के वक्त विपक्षी दलों ने आरोप लगाया था कि सारे निर्णय केंद्र ने ले लिए और यदि राज्यों को जिम्मेदारी दी जाती तो स्थिति दूसरी होती। अगर यह सच है तो राज्य बताएं कि उन्होंने केंद्र के स्पष्ट निर्देश और धन आवंटन के बाद भी ऑक्सीजन प्लांट क्यों नहीं लगाए?

    जिन लोगों को ना इस देश की मान्यताओं की जानकारी है, ना आस्थाओं का ज्ञान, वो दूसरों की मोटर साइकल पर बैठ कर ज्ञान दे रहे हैं। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पंचक काल (जो इस वक्त चल रहा है) में दाह संस्कार को शुभ नहीं मानते और जल दाह (जल में प्रवाहित) या रेत में दफ़न करना उचित समझते हैं।

    महाशिवरात्रि पर हरिद्वार में सबसे ज्यादा 32 लाख श्रद्धालु उमड़ने का दावा किया गया। 20 दिन बाद 31मार्च को प्रदेश में 293 और हरिद्वार में मात्र 70 पाजिटिव केस थे। संक्रांति के बाद से ही उमड़ने वाली भीड़ के बावजूद अगर मार्च तक ग्राउंड जीरो ही प्रभावित नहीं था तो फिर कुंभ विलेन कैसे?

    This is in Jallandhar, Punjab. A father carrying his Covid positive son’s dead body on his shoulder walking on the street. Punjab has been among one of the worst affected state with mortality rate of approx 2.4%, much above the national average. But there is no media scrutiny.
