They are native to ParaíBa, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Pará, Amapá, RondôNia, GoiáS, AmazôNia, Mato Grosso, Cerrado, Tocantins, Maranhao, and AmazôNia. They have simple, simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 16 m.
