Act for freedom now!/boubourAs Session 16, Wednesday 14/3/12                                              The session began with a statement by P.Roupa concerning the failed attack of the R.S. against the Citibank headquarters in Kifissia. Citibank, shesaid, is a criminal organization of the international elite, whichexpresses the interests of the richest families in the USA. It isresponsible for war crimes, the destruction of whole countries, and thedeath of thousands of people. She gave examples from Peru, where povertyand destruction caused a cholera epidemic, from Mozambique, where by 2020 it is expected that a quarter of the farming population will have died and others. She spoke of the strategy of the international capital after WW2 to surpass some obstacles in the movement of capitals, which had been imposed with the struggle and blood of the people, in which Citibank led. And we, concluded P.Roupa, are called to be tried as terrorists and criminals!   They are the criminals. Evgenia Drosou, a witness for the attack on N.Ionias police station, is another example of where terror-hysteria can lead. This lady, before the attack, had seen a tall man wearing clothes resembling Navy clothes, but with no stripes, walking back and forth outside her house for quite a while. She thought this was suspicious, spoke to a friend of hers “who is with the police” and she told her to go and testify this. When she saw the photos of the arrested on the TV, many years later, she kind of…. recognized Kortesis. Even though she had described someone almost a head taller than Kortesis, about 15 years older (she mentioned a man around 40-45 years old) and without a beard. Even in the court she didn’t hesitate to turn around, point at Kortesis and say: “he kind of looks like that gentleman”. The chairman politely disdained her: “I am afraid that your testimony is not valid”. Followed two cops from the Voulgarakis case, who were called to testify thanks to the insistence of accused members of the R.S. From their testimonies it was proven first of all that Voulgarakis is a major liar and second that the decision consciously created incidents, in order to support the attempted homicide charge. Kanellopoulos, a cop of the antiterrorist force testified that he got the order to search the whole area which had visual contact with the spotwhere the explosive mechanism was placed, because the superiors were convinced that the explosion was carried out with a remote control,considering no leftovers of a clock mechanism were found. And, in a bush, he found a remote control with an antenna from a model vehicle, which was investigated, found that it belonged to a specific company and themanagers of the company explained, as is shown in the trial brief as well,that it is a precision remote, with a security against interference on itsfrequency. As soon as the remote was found, officials of the DAEEB showedup at the spot, amongst which his own superior, the infamous FotisPapageorgiou. He clarified, also, that the specific bush offered cover anda possibility for a getaway to whoever would detonate the mechanism.G.Ananias, handler of dogs who detect explosives, was also very clear. Hewas in charge of checking the area, before Voulgarakis comes out. His wifehad left before, but he never left before the area was checked by the dog. He therefore disputed Voulgarakis fairy-tale, that he had left, came back because he forgot something and that’s how he barely made it. “My opinionis”, testified the cop, “that the mechanism was completely controlled. Because I was moving towards the bomb, it is sure that I would have found it; the dog would have smelled it. That’s why they detonated it, before I got there. If they wanted to hit me, then they would have detonated it five seconds later when I would be right above the mechanism. I am saying that they didn’t want to kill me”. With the interventions made immediately after by P.Roupa and N.Maziotis pointed out that from the testimonies of those two witnesses, two cops, is confirmed totally what R.S. in its communique. That is that the action was cancelled and the mechanism was detonated at the right moment so to not fall into the hands of the antiterrorist and with complete control so no one gets hurt. Not even the cop with the dog, who was not a target of the organization. But, the trial order speaks of a clock mechanism! For what reason? So that there is an attempted homicide charge. P.Roupa asked that the examination continues and that the head of the Antiterrorist H.Balakos and the department head F.Papageorgiou are called to testify, who have full knowledge of the real incidents. It is proven that we were right all along to suggest witnesses, noted N.Maziotis. what was written in the communique was confirmed. That if the organization wanted to “get” the cop with the dog it would have “got” him. There was complete carefulness by the comrades, Noted P.Roupa, so that no one except Voulgarakis got hurt. Advocate D.Vagianou, after noting Voulgarakis lie, upon which the charge was structured, she dealt with an important legal issue. The validity or not of an attempt.  This in legal terms means that from the moment the committer, with his/hers deliberate intervention, disrupted the act, the attempt is non-valid, so there’s no homicide attempt. P.Roupa, in a new intervention, stated that R.S. always took into consideration the area and the intensity of the hit class struggle dictates. The people who carried out an action had full knowledge of the radius as well as the dangers for pedestrians and drivers. In this specific case, the cop with the dog would have got to the mechanism. You would either hit them or you would cancel the action. The organization did not want the mechanism to fall into the hands of the cops; it did not want to hit Ananias, that’s why the mechanism was destroyed. The prosecutor, considering that the matter is over (neither were these two witnesses necessary, he said!) proposed to not call Baltakos and Papageorgiou.  The court had a small meeting and decided to refuse the demand to call them. Is pending the general demand of calling witnesses, which we will look at in the future, said the chairman. After that, began the examination of witnesses from the attack on the stock exchange. Security guard G.Mavroidatos, a young man with a degree, who speaks many foreign languages, was working in the company Prince Security and was on the night shift at the stock exchange reception. The security guards in the control room saw a van on the cameras and told him to go and check it, he thought it was suspicious but before the guards got a chance to inform, the cops showed up and told them to evacuate the building.  They kicked out the cleaning lady, they also saw the cops leaving, but they got an order from their superior Kokkini to remain inside! And they didn’t send them to the data room, an internal refuge where all the electronic data from the stock exchange is held, but in the camera room, which was external, on the side where the explosion took place! The organization, said N.Maziotis, put 150 kilos of dynamite to hit the stock exchange, warned of a heavy explosion by giving 40minutes and asked that the neighbouring buildings are also evacuated.  These people got an order not to leave. And the charge speaks of danger to human lives. Who put human lives in danger? As an organization there is no way we would put security guards in danger. The bosses however, consider them disposable. It is a lie and hypocritical to accuse us that we put human lives in danger. Others put lives in danger. And still, the charging authorities did not call the other three security guards and their superior Kokkini to testify. N.Maziotis submitted a demand to call them to testify. When I was in prison and got the testimonies of these people I was speechless, said P.Roupa. The R.S. knew that there would be security guards and cleaning personnel, that’s why it asked for the evacuation of the nearby buildings. And they still left those people inside! Why? For the stock exchange. It is shameful that we are tried for endangering human lives, when others are the guilty ones. Seeing the reality, the prosecutor tried to make a manoeuvre. Maybe many people have responsibilities, he said, but this trial does not care about responsibilities of third parties, but only of the accused. And then he threw his caustic remark: if R.S., by putting 150 kilos in a residential area thought there would be no danger! “It is not a residential area”, N.Maziotis corrected him calmly, and the prosecutor did not continue, but did not take back his “reflection” either. D.Vagianou noted that legally the prosecutor goes into the theory of equivalent terms. Which means that independently of the responsibilities of third parties, the action of RS created equivalent danger. However, the attitude of the security officials and cops who did not carry out the evacuation of the buildings is vital for the penal law. The “no matter what, people were endangered”, besides the legal matter, raises a heavier political matter, commented P.Roupa.  That is to say, no matter how many measures you take, you create dangers. No, the action of the RS has shown that it does not create such dangers. Armed action exists in greece before the RS and the revolutionaries always made sure there is no danger for people. The responsibility is on the cops who had been warned and had the time to evacuate all the buildings, where there were very few people. Aristidis Darlis was the janitor of ‘Eleftheortypia’ newspaper, who happened to receive the warning call. He confirmed that they told of a strong explosion that will happen, about a van loaded with explosives, while they even gave him the exact location of the van. Because of his clear testimony, P.Roupa commented again that the location and time was given, therefore the responsibility lies exclusively with the cops, who put simply put some ribbons to isolate the area and did not evacuate the neighbouring buildings. “Honestly”, she asked, “why have witnesses from only actions of the organization have been called? Are you trying to imply that on other actions there was no warning call? There was always enough time given for the cops to isolate the area and evacuate the buildings”. She concluded with the submission of a demand to call as witnesses all the phone operators of ‘Eleftherotypia’ who have received warning calls in all the actions of the organization, so every shadow can leave and it can be proven that in all actions there was providence so that people were not endangered. Then came the turn of the capitalists. Eleftherios Politaridis, manager of human resources of the stock exchange, having heard the testimony of the security guard Mavroidatos, tried to make him out to be a liar. Constantly repeating that human life above all, he claimed that the guards had an order from the company to leave, but… they didn’t leave! “They stayed inside under the state of panic and maybe there was some misunderstanding”. However, Mavroidatos –who was fired a year after the incident- had testified that the rules forbid them to leave and that after the incident the rules changed.  When confronted by D.Vagianou and M.Daliani, the manager tried to avoid it with a desperate defence, but at the end when he was asked if he investigated, after the incident, why the guards remained inside, he… remained silent! Politaridis should be ashamed, commented P.Roupa. Behind this rule, which made the security guards stay inside, is an aim: to not disrupt the function of the stock exchange.  That’s why they mortgaged the lives of three people. A significant executive of the system consented to a crime. And instead of saying “we made a mistake”, he’s trying to make a liar out of the employee. This shows the kind of these executives. In the beginning they didn’t care and then, faced with it would cost their company with this revelation, they come and lie. Followed the leading consultant of STAKOR SA Michael Kortesis. STAKOR is right across the stock exchange and as the boss said they had damages of about 3,5 million euro. And while the guard of the building has testified that he was miraculously saved, because he saw the cops and went and asked them what’s going on and they told him to leave, Kortesis blatantly tried to make the cops look good, by saying that the guard came out and saw the cops coming towards him to inform him. He was immediately disputed by Ioannis Skrekas, employee of AKRITAS SECURITY, who was a guard that night a STAKOR. He described what happened in detail. No one told him to go. Fifteen minutes before the explosion, he saw lights from flashlights lighting up the trees. He came out to see what’s going on, saw the cops looking for the bomb in the trees!!!, asked what’s going on and then they told him “get out of here now, there’s a bomb”! If I didn’t get, I would have been blown up, he testified. That’s when the chairman, despite being generally reserved, committed the second big ‘foul’ since the beginning of the trial. “Casualties are also the labourers, not only the capitalists.  I am mentioning this so the accused can hear me”. He said. In other words, adding to what the prosecutor said earlier, he showed that he has made his decisions in key matters of the charge. This witness still works for the same company. This is why when he was asked his opinion about if the cops acted good or bad, if they protected him, he answered “Ask the cops if they acted good or bad. I do not want to express my opinion”. N.Maziotis noted that the leading consultant lied and called the court to decide to call the head of security of the stock exchange and the other three security guards. P.Roupa commented that the chairman’s statement was discriminatory; noting that he is trying to save the charge, trying in any way to get the R.S. attempted homicides.   But the court decided again that the incident was adequately investigated concerning the real incidents and concerning the warning from then organization R.S. and there is no reason for further investigation. This means they decided to not even call Kokkini, the supervisor of then security guards, who gave them the order to remain in the building. After that, D.Vagianou, according to the wish of her clients, asked that Politairidis is prosecuted for perjury. First the prosecutor and then the chairman said that the only thing they can do is send the minutes to the penal prosecutor, because their court is not responsible. CCF and Theofilos Mavropoulos [Greece] Greece: CCF – Bullets of words for the bullets of FAI/FRI It is a wonderful moment, the moment that the enemy kneels and falls from the determination of your brothers and sisters. A few days ago Roberto Adinolfi, CEO-magister of the nuclear energy company Ansaldo Nucleare, was shot by our brothers and sisters of the Olga Cell of the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI)–International Revolutionary Front (FRI). Roberto Adinolfi is a high priest of the new totalitarianism of science and technology imperatives. Science has become the modern religion of our time, promising an apathetic society the lethargy of a stuffed belly and artificial paradises in exchange for the coldness of an empty heart drowned in compromise. The empire of scientific totalitarianism is fed by the vanity of an anthropocentric authoritarian civilization. A civilization imposed on our desires, our choices, the nature and animals, turning life into a quantitative scale to fit its miserable statistics. At the same time, contemporary people end up unable to even dare to live authentically, without hypocrisy, and as they sink deeper into their reliance on technological substitutes of real life they create illusions and superficial relationships. Now, with their scientific discoveries, they can ‘offer’ us more time to grow old but deprive us of a way to live authentically. So, science generates the coldest of all monsters of the human folly. It lays the technological fascistization of our lives. It lays genetic testing, electronic monitoring, laboratory animals, research statistics, the dictatorship of machines and numbers. Alongside the high priests of nuclear energy like Adinolfi poison and plunder the nature, animals and people, dressing up their scientific crimes in the guise of evolution. The shootings of Adinolfi are the new poetry of anarchist action. In the social machine of indolence and compromise, the humanitarian appeals and the reformist inhibitions concerning ‘respect’ for human life will never miss. But in our own consciousness code things are clear. We don’t have any respect for human life as SELF-WORTH. What human life per se does is to produce the option of CHOICES. The CHOICES are those that give value to human life, or devalue and trivialize it. Thus, what is the reason to respect the human life of small and large tyrants like Adinolfi, who haven’t for even a moment respected our own lives? The practice of armed attacks was, is and will be an integral part of the new anarchist urban guerrilla warfare. The choice of the COMRADES of FAI/FRI to name the cell that has attacked Adinolfi as Olga Cell after our comrade Olga Ekonomidou is a great honour for us and a profound act of friendship, one we will never forget. The bullets and the words of FAI/FRI have managed to break the impregnable of the specific conditions imposed on Olga in Diavata prisons and to storm the solitary cell where she is being held under disciplinary punishment, monitored 24 hours a day through CCTV camera; they have, thus, given her strength and smile now that she knows everything continues. For us the Italian FAI/FRI is the Conspiracy’s second home, and half of our heart belongs to the Italian FAI/FRI. We look forward to the time when we will join our sisters and brothers of FAI/FRI and surge forward into new battles for the lasting anarchist insurrection. Both FAI/FRI and Conspiracy of Cells of Fire are not a prescription for canned answers, but they are a good way to begin with questions and queries for an authentic and free life. Comrades of FAI/FRI: may a bullet come with our every word, as thought comes with your every bullet… And life’s magazine continues to be loaded with dreams, desires, anxieties, tears, smiles, concerns, discussions, actions… One day after the responsibility claim by the Olga Cell of FAI/FRI, we were informed by the media that the Bologna’s prosecution office, via the ridiculous puppet–public prosecutor Enrico Cieri, issued arrest warrants against us for the booby-trapped parcel that was sent to Berlusconi. More precisely, arrest warrants were issued for five of us (Panagiotis Argirou, Giorgos Nikolopoulos, Haris Hadjimihelakis, Gerasimos Tsakalos and Christos Tsakalos), as well as for two unrelated guys that have no connection whatsoever with the Conspiracy and the insurrectionary anarchy of FAI/FRI. The warrants against us are in retaliation by the Bologna’s prosecution office for the attack of our sisters and brothers of the FAI/FRI Olga Cell. It is a desperate attempt of the Italian authorities to interrupt and impede the informal international network that has developed among the tens of FAI/FRI cells. But in vain. The invitation-inducement of Italian comrades to create an informal anarchist federation of anarchist of praxis and its constant advancement is already in the minds and hearts of comrades from around the world. No prosecution can ever stop it anywhere. The comrades of FAI/FRI had written in one of their texts ‘Do not say that we are few,’ and we now add ‘Do not say that they can stop us…’ The Informal Anarchist Federation travels over borders and cities, carrying with it the momentum of a lasting anarchist insurrection. As the CCF imprisoned members’ cell, along with our comrade and brother Theofilos Mavropoulos, we are TOGETHER with the FAI/FRI on this journey of no return. We have burned the bridges behind us, and any inhibition has died. We are anarchists of praxis, and all we can say to the Bologna’s prosecution office is this: Your warrants are nothing but shitpapers to us, and we are completely indifferent towards the ridiculousness of your existence as the Italian State’s judicial representatives. And if some of us are now captives in the enemy’s hands, that does not frighten us or make us regret. On the contrary, prison feeds the wolf within us, and our rage against the Power and its society grows stronger. Friday April 6th day of actions in solidarity with Stella Antoniou

The anarchist Stella Antoniou has been in pre-trial prison custody for 16
months.

She is accused of participation in the Revolutionary Organization Conspiracy
of Cells of Fire.

She was arrested in December of 2010 along with the comrades Costa Sakka,
George Karagiannidi and Alexander Mitrousia, who are also in prison for the same
case.

Stella refuses, as do the others, the rotten and bloated charges, which are
constantly renewed with new prosecutions and which are based on their personal
relationships and of course their political identities as anarchists.
Stella suffers from a severe illness which is continuously worsening due to
her confinement and for that reason she repeatedly files applications for
release, which are denied one after the other.

However, she never ceased to struggle with courage inside prison...
She never refused that she stood in solidarity to a wanted comrade of
hers...

Because of the 5th in series application for release, filed for
health reasons by the anarchist comrade Stella Antoniou, collectives,
occupations, assemblies and individuals, in an open discussion (in Athens,)
decided upon the organizing of a march in solidarity, from Parliament Square at
6pm on Friday April 6th. At the same time they direct an open call to all
collectives for a Nation-wideday of actions in solidarity with Stella
Antoniou on the same day as the march.

We also translate and transfer the call so that other comrades
wherever they are may contribute to the solidarity which will be expressed on
that day demanding the immediate release of Stella Antoniou.

Η Στέλλα αρνείται, όπως και οι υπόλοιποι, το σαθρό και υπερδιογκωμένο
κατηγορητήριο, που διαρκώς ανανεώνεται με νέες διώξεις και βασίζεται πάνω σε
προσωπικές σχέσεις και φυσικά την πολιτική ταυτότητα όλων ως αναρχικών.
Η Στέλλα πάσχη από σοβαρή ασθένεια που διαρκώς επιδεινώνεται λόγω του
εγκλεισμού και γιαυτό το λόγο καταθέτει συνεχώς αιτήσεις αποφυλάκισης, οι οποίες
απορρίπτονται η μια πίσω από την άλλη.
Δεν σταμάτησε όμως ποτέ να αγωνίζεται με σθένος μέσα στη φυλακή...

Στέλλας Αντωνίου που κατατέθηκε για λόγους υγείας, συλλογικότητες, στέκια,
καταλήψεις, συνελεύσεις και άτομα, σε μια ανοιχτή συζήτηση (στην Αθήνα)
κατέληξαν στη συνδιοργάνωση πορείας αλληλεγγύης από το Σύνταγμα την Παρασκευή
6 Απρίλη. Συγχρόνως απευθύνουν ανοιχτό κάλεσμα σε όλες τις συλλογικότητες
του χώρου για Πανελλαδικήμέρα δράσης αλληλεγγύηςστην Στέλλα Αντωνίου την ίδια μέρα
με την πορεία.
Μεταφράζουμε και μεταφέρουμε το κάλεσμα ώστε και άλλοι σύντροφοοι όπου

Friday April 6th day of actions in solidarity with Stella Antoniou

The anarchist Stella Antoniou has been in pre-trial prison custody for 16
months.

She is accused of participation in the Revolutionary Organization Conspiracy
of Cells of Fire.

She was arrested in December of 2010 along with the comrades Costa Sakka,
George Karagiannidi and Alexander Mitrousia, who are also in prison for the same
case.

Stella refuses, as do the others, the rotten and bloated charges, which are
constantly renewed with new prosecutions and which are based on their personal
relationships and of course their political identities as anarchists.
Stella suffers from a severe illness which is continuously worsening due to
her confinement and for that reason she repeatedly files applications for
release, which are denied one after the other.

However, she never ceased to struggle with courage inside prison...
She never refused that she stood in solidarity to a wanted comrade of
hers...

Because of the 5th in series application for release, filed for
health reasons by the anarchist comrade Stella Antoniou, collectives,
occupations, assemblies and individuals, in an open discussion (in Athens,)
decided upon the organizing of a march in solidarity, from Parliament Square at
6pm on Friday April 6th. At the same time they direct an open call to all
collectives for a Nation-wideday of actions in solidarity with Stella
Antoniou on the same day as the march.

We also translate and transfer the call so that other comrades
wherever they are may contribute to the solidarity which will be expressed on
that day demanding the immediate release of Stella Antoniou.

So many of us captured, thrown into prisons, tortured, wounded or even dead. It’s getting more and more difficult to mention every comrade in each communique. Yet they are all worth mentioning, they shouldn’t fade into obscurity of silence of prison cells. Names spin in the head… People we’ve never known, but their dedication and sacrifice for the cause resonates with our worldview, with our own cause. And faces of friends we’ll never see again. Dead, murdered by the System. Is it everywhere like this? Are we all alone in this hostile world? Are there other mutineers, saboteurs, discontent? How do we get in touch with all this censorship?

How do we let them know with all this conspiracy of silence in media and society, even among political left? How do we communicate? We don’t know their language even. How do we write? Can they translate from Russian? OK, let’s just give it a try, we’ll see where this’ll go soon enough…

As soon as we learned of existence of others like us, we started reading their texts and established rapport through claims of responsibility and mutual expressions of solidarity. It’s a wonderful feeling, when one reads a text from another part of the world and yet its clear that people have same concerns, share same ideals and have same passion for freedom and social change, same rage against the status quo. And think about you. Conspiracy of Cells of Fire were first group that breached the blank wall of ignorance for us.

We believe today’s Greece could be thought of as a lighthouse for thousands of anarchists around the world who look upon it with hope that somehow people of this country can demonstrate new and easy ways towards world of freedom and equality. We looked deeper. Your daring attacks stroke us as the most appropriate and meaningful way to react to police brutality, economical and social injustices, ignorance of “law-abiding citizens” and political farce. And although most our communiques are frequently written in light-hearted and elated tones, we know full well that this joy and feeling of closeness with other anarchists around the world doesn’t come easy. That every direct action activist pays with her nerves, tears and blood for every letter in every claim of responsibility. And that to put such words on paper it really takes some character and very strong feeling of doing the right thing, of actually getting closer to victory. And we thank you for sincerity and straight-forwardness.

With our words and deeds we express our support for Greek comrades and their cause, but we feel its important for anarchists to fight in their own local battles and undermine authorities where they live, not to travel around hotbeds of successful anarchist resistance and “savour” this riot here or that march there. Much less to sit idly and wait till social war in Greece ends with a victory. Our subversive anarchist struggle should start right here, right now, not when people in yet another country finally decide to show their own government they’ve had enough.

That’s another point of reference that endeared you to us, friends from Conspiracy of Cells of Fire: your sharp and precise, brave (and brash even) voices calling for total break-away from modern society on all levels, everywhere. Your disagreement to follow “cafe professors of revolution”, voiced refusal to wait for “revolutionized masses” to rise up. A call for decentralized network of direct action. A motto “Think globally – act locally” put into the most revolutionary practice possible.

We have experienced first-hand the negative reaction and derisive laughter of so-called “anarchist comrades” right after publishing our only lengthy communique so far, where we tried to explain who we were and where did we stand. Today we see and hear more and more anarchists in our region turning towards anarcho-nihilism and moving in the direction of total rejection of the bourgeois-left lifestyle. This happens on all levels in the community: music, publications, statements of responsibility, face-to-face talks, discussions during assemblies. But we know full well how hard and ungrateful it is to voice these ideas for the first time. And this is another reason we feel so much love and tenderness towards you.

Greece is so close in every anarchist heart today, it seems. Sometimes people in Russia joke that close friends meet on two occasions: weddings and funerals. For Russian anarchists this closeness with Greek comrades came after police murder of Alexis Grigoropoulos. And yet Greece is so far away in terms of language and events.

By the time information of your activity and your texts reached us, some of you were already captured, others in hiding.

So it was painful indeed to read your thoughts and ideas and at the same time know the fate that awaited some of you and feeling uncertain and anxious for those who managed to go underground. With similar feelings we read scarce words of Ted Kaczynski, Walter Bond and Tortuga, close ones that reach us. With similar cold understanding of inevitability we read recent news of 3 of our Indonesian comrades captured after an attack.

But life continues even after capture, and for people of strong character even further struggle for Anarchy is possible, as so many our comrades in Russia have personally learned throughout all these years.

Your words fly out from behind prison bars, get carried away by winds of Anarchy and translated by numerous anonymous comrades around the world, words full of dignity and calm sureness in our cause being right. These words inspire us. By your acts of defiance you set a new level of revolutionary consciousness we believe every anarchist should strive to achieve. And knowledge of your refusal to repent and bow down gives strength to every new wave of anarchist prisoners, you should know that. Big thanks for this very difficult, dangerous and taxing war you’re waging inside prison walls!

Our own liberatory project lies a bit away from the cities and urban guerrilla, however. We’ve made a conscious and dangerous move of bringing our actions to light and kept constant the flow of news of our attacks. Our many-fold aim was to establish communion with other eco-anarchist and insurrectionary groups around the world (which we did), to help our comrades from “blackblocg” project in promoting the new urban guerrilla warfare (which by now is a rage in our lands), to encourage other eco-activists and anarchists on the path of ecological sabotage (which was a success) and to provide intelligence, cover and support for subversive actions of our comrades in the region (a constant in our minds, and a roaring success by the looks of it). It is fall of 2011, and autonomous nazi groups in Russia are either destroyed or went into hiding. Huge repressive apparatus of Russian State, its mechanisms grinding and moaning, slowly turns its attention towards anarchist movement. First lightning has already lit the horizon – the recent arrests and detentions in Moscow. What storm will come we’ve yet to see. But what keeps us warm in these cold and rainy nights is the thought that finally fledgeling anarchist movement in Russia has managed to become an inner threat dangerous enough for the government to seriously consider putting a yoke on us prior to elections. Guess this means we’re doing everything right.

Now we believe it’s time for next part of our plan, and so we salute with raised fists and step back into the darkness of our forests and glades. We keep in touch, we carry on fighting side by side with our comrades-in-arms from IRF/FAI for another world we know is possible. Our participation in IRF/FAI was made possible in large part because of your efforts, friends, your dedication and courage. This project gave us new and dear companions and co-conspirators, opened our minds to new possibilities of struggle and provided us with a lot to think about.

And for this also we give you our eternal smiles, hugs, kisses, winks and solidarity!

Let the fires of Anarchy be the beacons of hope and encouragement for all excluded and dispossessed worldwide!

While reading letters written by imprisoned comrades and their communiques, we can feel with all our hearts their hatred towards status quo, their anxiety to create another world by destroying this one. Each line of such texts flows like a stream through your veins. It gets right to the core and stays forever in your soul.

While walking down cold and dark streets of the metropolises, we never forget about hundreds of imprisoned comrades and thousands who have died. Sorrow mixed with anger channeled through a prism of revolutionary consciousness give us a huge pulse to make revolution a reality.

When void and terror of this world suddenly close in, it’s sometimes difficult to keep your stance and not to fall into pits of apathy and depression. And only bright rays of ever-shining starlight pierce darkness and give hope. Every day they keep our intent to act warm, each day they breath new life into our willingness to change this world for better, to become better ourselves. The star is called Solidarity.

Fiery words from flaming Greece drive the chill away during cold Russian winters. We’ve never seen you, and, chances are, we’ll never see you, comrades. But you are closer to us than thousands of people we’ve got to know during our short lives.

Our warm words will be making a long and twisted journey. They are running wild through Russian woods, immolating construction vehicles, they soar high above grey streets of Athens, igniting them with flames of burning police stations. And finally through prison bars they’ll get into Your cells, mocking all security measures.

While making our most sincere dreams come true on the concrete streets of the metropolises, we came to call each other friends. We found people who we can count upon in any situation. People so close, we can share everything we have with each other.

Power tries isolate and crush our resistance, to pick us off one-by-one. They want to instill feelings of paranoia and mistrust. But they will fail. In spite of their expectations, we became even more closer to each other.

And while our activity puts us in grave danger, we still dream of a day, when we shall gather again in a small rural house. We will be drinking herbal tea that we’ve gathered with our own hands and sharing our plans with smiles and laughter.

And exchanging tales of our exploits. And this day is not far off.

We hope that soon enough you’ll be able to give hugs to all your friends as well.

And to get back on the road of adventure. We throw our fists up for you and wish you freedom. Flaming salutes and fiery hugs. And remember, you are not alone in this struggle!

Hello Comrades and a fraternal greeting to all those who fight evil, oppression and all government sanctioned authority.

To all those that don’t chat but instead act, I am your brother. For far too long, theoretical, philosophical, heartless, gutless cowards have pretended to be the standard bearers of liberation. But liberation is not a book or a speaking engagement. Liberation is not a set of laws being passed and the system trying to include you in their corruption.

Liberation is the abolition of oppression. Liberation is a scream in the face of all those that seek to use you spitefully, for their own hedonistic ends. Liberation is a can of gasoline in your backpack and the power of Mother Earth in both fucking fists! When we die, there will be plenty of time for pacifism and silence. Right now it is time to fight. It is time to resist with all the power and force that love and hate can give us!

Those of us behind the walls and razorwire, those of us that have proudly fought, will proudly fight and never bow before any authority outside of our own have shown this world the path to true liberation with our actions. But armchair generals and keyboard commandos don’t want actions, they want words. What a waste of time.

I have more respect for my enemies than the soothsayers, flatterers and hobbyists. Because at least my enemies are honest, at least my oppressors don’t pretend to be otherwise and at least they know how to act and react for the benefit of everything their twisted black hearts hold dear. No scribe, scribbler, voicebox or bag of wind is a commander of anything outside of opinions and pieces of paper. That is why I speak for myself. That is why I strongly recommend that all political prisoners speak up whenever we can because when we stay silent, lesser women and men start speaking for us. Or worse yet, our silence makes us seem non-existent.

This government, that government, all government will always try to scare the many with the few. Because the truly free, those with a feral heart, can light fires in their cities even from behind their prison walls. And you know what? They can have my body, and that’s all they can have. I exist, we exist, in the resolve of every comrade that is not scared and is going to employ direct action right now!

You can keep me locked away until this body is dead and decays and that’s the end of their power! You cannot stop the spirit of resistance that animates me! You can’t stop what you can’t scare! Welcome to the insurgency!

Anarchism means “no more government” not “welcome to my bookstore”! Animal Liberation means opening the cages and then smashing them, not opening your mouth in like-minded company. Earth Liberation means a ski resort gets the torch, not another Rich Liberal building an eco-friendly house. And Human Liberation means ending the oppression of all civilization, not chanting slogans to news cameras.

US hits Greek anarchist group with terrorism sanctions

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has added a Greek anarchist group to
a terrorism blacklist that subjects the organization and its members to
U.S. financial sanctions.

The State Department said Thursday it had placed the Conspiracy of Fire
Nuclei, or SPF, on its list of specially designated terrorists, a move
that freezes any assets the group may have in U.S. jurisdictions and bars
Americans from giving it any material support. It said the group, which
first emerged in 2008, had targeted civilians and government officials in
a number of countries, including Greece, in an attempt to spread its
ideology.

SPF has attacked car dealerships and banks with fire bombs and last year
attempted to mail parcel bombs to European Union offices in Germany and
Italy and foreign embassies in Greece, it said.

Proposal from the Fire Cells Conspiracy

To all anarchist prisoners:

Prison is the country of prisoners. From here inside, we want to send
greetings to our comrades imprisoned around the world, as well as set a
proposal in motion.

In the country of prisoners, the days go by one after the other, slow and
indifferent, while everywhere cement and an immense boredom prevail.

Nevertheless, our minds often escape and secretly visit our brothers and
sisters imprisoned in Chile, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, England,
Russia, Denmark, and wherever else there are cells full of people who
haven’t lost the desire for freedom.

Comrades, we talk to you even though we don’t speak the same language. We
see you even though we’ve never met face-to-face. We smile at you even
though we don’t know one another.

The enemy believes it can break our morale by locking us up in its cells
for months and years. Power thus expects to receive a declaration of
remorse, a renunciation of direct action, a revision of our anarchist
values.

But the only thing it will receive is our utter contempt and our most
potent rage. All of us who have assumed responsibility for belonging to
the first phase of the Fire Cells Conspiracy expect sentences of many
years—condemnation by a system we have declared war on because we will not
tolerate it governing our lives.

We want to transform the upcoming trial of the Fire Cells Conspiracy into
a trial of the system.

By way of our discourse and our attitude, it won’t be us defending
ourselves in front of the judges, but they defending themselves in front
of us for the crimes committed by the Power they serve.

At the same time, we want to draw attention to the fascist mechanism
constructed to persecute us via the collaboration of the police, the
judiciary, and the mass media.

A mechanism that launched an unprecedented antianarchist campaign whose
goal was not just our arrest, but also the creation of a climate of
widespread fear in which even the possession of previously published texts
by anarchist prisoners could lead to a date with the prosecutor.

This was preceded by numerous detentions, the issuing of arrest warrants,
the publication of photos of those of us who were at large, mass media
screenplays about “connections between all the guerrilla organizations,”
reports about the “revolutionary fund” and our participation in bank
robberies, “specialist” analyses of each of our “psychological profiles,”
and many other methodical schemes whose objective was to isolate us
morally and marginalize anarchist urban guerrilla warfare.

The State wants to wipe the choice of anarchist direct action off the map
of values held by subversive circles.

It wants to portray direct action as a futile decision that leads directly
to prison, changing nothing.

However, when you choose direct action, you choose to take your life into
your own hands.

Through direct action, we break away from stagnant thinking, we negate
spineless movements, and we sabotage the clocks of discipline, creating
free time and space within the hostile environment of the metropolis.

There, where surveillance cameras record our every move, uniformed police
pigs memorize our faces, and the screens of the spectacle fabricate our
desires, we once again don our masks. Our hands grab hold of stones,
Molotovs, bombs, pistols, and we pour into the streets in search of
freedom.

Now, even in prison, we don’t ever forget that feeling, and we’ll do
exactly the same thing again the first chance we get.

We therefore don’t want intellectuals, university professors, or any of
the well-known hacks from leftist cliques defending us at our trial.

What do any of them know about the adventure of direct action and its values?

What can be said by those who spend all day firmly seated in their
comfortable offices, chitchatting against the system from the vantage
point of their leftist salon culture while that very system feeds them?

No, let them keep their “sensitivity” and the guilt they feel for having
sold out to the Power that wants to portray us as “troubled, socially
impressionable youths.”

We’re not looking for fake sympathy or support from the Left. Far from it.
We seek accomplices to the same crime: the fight for anarchy and freedom.

There can be no more appropriate place for our search than the prisons
that constitute an obligatory stop on the path of many anarchist comrades.

Therefore, comrades, we present you with a proposal/invitation.

In a few months the second Fire Cells Conspiracy trial will be held.

Even now we know that they will sentence us, and not for one minute will
we take a step back, nor will we lower our heads or our voices in order to
benefit from some “extenuating circumstance.”

Therefore, there can be no better or stronger argument for our defense
that your own voice, comrades. It’s from your expressions of solidarity
and the attacks carried out by anarchist direct action groups that we draw
the courage to look our persecutors directly in the eye. Surely you’ve
felt the same thing, imprisoned in other countries and paying the same
price for our shared passion for freedom.

More specifically, what we’re thinking about and proposing is to release,
ahead of the trial, a pamphlet containing your international words of
solidarity with the Fire Cells Conspiracy case.

At the same time, given that solidarity is a reciprocal concept to us,
we’d like it if those of you who want to contribute something—thereby
giving us strength and support—accompany it with an introductory text
explaining your own case.

The pamphlet we want to release will thus include summaries of each of
your cases, carrying your own experience of struggle to Greece and the
other countries where the publication will be distributed, creating new
opportunities to instigate hostilities with the system as part of
international solidarity.

Together we will create an international experience of struggle that far
exceeds our specific case, since we don’t view the Fire Cells Conspiracy
as the simple calling card of an organization. We view it as a way of
being that describes and comprises the features and trajectory of the
anarchist struggle we’re all engaged in, another part of which is our time
spent in prison.

This is an experience we want to share with all you comrades who find
yourselves prisoners in the hands of the State, and it’s simultaneously a
proposal through which we can also be accomplices to your experiences.

It thus becomes possible to reach, within international anarchist circles,
a level of unity and coordination that isn’t vague, but essential.

Contact between comrade prisoners at an international level transforms
solidarity into a revolutionary workshop, revealing the different
perceptions that shape a joint anarchist action front.

The first contact between us will be capable of creating the preconditions
that open up an international dialogue among prisoners as well as comrades
on the other side of the prison walls—a dialogue in which each person’s
specific perceptions and analyses can be discussed, thereby promoting
coordinated attacking actions against the State. Of course, this doesn’t
mean the fusion or the dismissal of different opinions

Additionally, such differences cannot and must not be obstacles to
reciprocal support.

This is about trying to move from sympathy, which has developed among us
through letters and shared textual references, to international
coordination. It’s about trying to become accomplices, together forming
the Black International of anarchist prisoners and supporting—if so
desired—our Italian comrades’ proposal regarding the strengthening and
broadening of the Informal Anarchist Federation/International
Revolutionary Front.

The potentialities opened by this commitment are enormous, since it
concerns a process of intensifying hostilities between revolutionary
anarchists and the system.

It’s worth imagining the strength gained by something that, for example,
begins in Chilean prisons, crosses borders, and winds up in the cells of
Greece. An international solidarity campaign can thus be initiated from
prison, just like in the past when it was a matter of supporting comrade
Gabriel Pombo da Silva.

At the same time, the formation of an autonomous network of communication
among prisoners creates the appropriate preconditions for the existence of
a permanent flow of information about what’s going on in each prison, the
conditions of imprisonment, upcoming trials, potential sentences, and
ultimately the preparation of a counterattack plan by comrades outside
prison.

For each sentenced comrade, for each disciplinary measure, for each
prohibited letter or visit, for each vindictive transfer: no guard, no
embassy, and no police officer should feel safe. When prisoners have the
potential to communicate in their hands, there will be decisive comrades
everywhere responding with action, sabotage, and fire.

We consider the proposal to release the International Words of Solidarity
with the Fire Cells Conspiracy pamphlet to be the first step in that
direction.

There will certainly be many more steps to come, but at some point one
must simply begin.

In conclusion, we salute and stand beside—with our thoughts as well as our
hearts—the Chilean comrades charged in the Bombings Case and also comrade
Tamara, who is facing State persecution for sending a letter-bomb.

From the prisons of Greece we send anarchist smoke signals to Mónica
Caballero, Andrea Urzúa, El Viejo Loco, and the rest of the comrades
charged in the Bombings Case; Gabriel Pombo da Silva; Thomas Meyer-Falk;
Marco Camenisch; Silvia, Billy, and Costa; Braulio Arturo; Walter Bond;
Villarroel and Fuentevilla; Thomas Black and the English antifascists; the
imprisoned Italian insurrectionists; the Russians and Belarusians; the
Danes; and all those we’ve forgotten or whose names we simply don’t know
but want to know, because all of us have together chosen to sail against
our epoch, using anarchy as our compass.

Seven-hundred-fifty-one days of prison. Are you satisfied, my dear
judges? Pigs. Seven-hundred-fifty-two days of prison, pigs.
Seven-hundred-fifty-three pigs. Coming and going and off I go. Coming
and going and off I go. My cell is three meters by three meters. From
the second floor window I see 20% of the sky over the top of the
fucking prison wall. I walk through the yard like an automaton. I walk
kilometers in a yard measuring just a few meters. Boredom and boredom
again. Today I vomited up my very soul. I vomited bars, walls,
solitary confinements, years of prison, judicial sentences. I vomited
three years of prison. I don’t want to count anymore. I completely
close my eyes and think. I think about my comrades, whom they’re
keeping far away from me in other prisons. I think about fires on the
prison roofs. I think about everything prison has tried to make me
forget. I think about a smile, a caress, a journey that doesn’t end
over there where the wall ends, a glance that isn’t trapped behind the
fucking prison bars. I stop thinking. I open my hand. I look at the
metal file I have. Now I know. I know exactly what I have to do. Let’s
go then, once again. This time with feeling. Until the end. Long live
Anarchy.

On 23/9/2009, at 19.30, while coming out of the house of comrade

P.Masouras we were surrounded by 15-20 people of the anti-terrorist force,

wearing helmets and hoods and aiming at us with their guns, immobilized us

and led us to the cop car. Then a cop speaking on his mobile phone said

“we got them, we are coming.” Ofcourse when we asked them where we are

going and what happened, we got no answer. When we got to GADA (athens

police headquarters) they led us to the 12th floor and put us in two

different offices, where they told us to stand facing against the wall.

After a few arguements and tension the one in charge came in screaming

ecstaticly :”this is how the state fucks” and “we are at war”. Three-four

hours later after his delirium he invited me to his office for a “friendly

chat”. He began by saying that i am a good kid and im getting in trouble

for no reason, that my friend gave me up and all i have to do is tell him

everything i know and then i will be free.



He continued by intensely questioning me about situations i did’t know of.

Because I kept on asking why i am there and to communicate with my lawyer,

he took me to the office i was in earlier.



After a few hours, around 13.00 or 14.00 on 24/9, they announced to me

that i am free and if they need me they will call me again. To my

questions where Panagiotis is and why was in GADA for so many hours, they

replied that Panagiotis is arrested and i will learn the rest from the tv

when i get home.



From there on began a continuous surveillance of the anti-terrorist force

at an annoying level, until the 1st of February, when they arrested me

outside my house. When they led me to the 12th floor, they informed that

there is a warrant for my arrest since the 13th of January which idid not

know of desoite that they knew where i live. The evidence of my

prosecution were a blue plastic bag with a french pamphlet, that were

found in the house on 25 Martiou street in Halandri. When i was led to the

mafioso of the appeals court i was imprisoned with quick procedures. They

told me i don’t have a permanent residence although i was arrested outside

my house. They told me also that i could end up murdering someone with the

books i read.



I was led to prison and was released 1,5 month later. Whoever understands,

understands.



In September 2009 cops of the anti-terrorist force raid a house on 25

Martiou street in Halandri. There they find an explosive device in a

closet of one of the rooms in the house. Comrade Haris Hadjimihelakis is

arrested as well as M.G. and M.P. and warrants go out for 6 more people.

Panagiotis Masouras is arrested in Galatsi and is imprisoned. Comrades who

deny the charges are imprisoned with sole evidence a fingerprint in a

house or their friendly and comrade relations. This case has as a target

the penalization of friendly and comrade relations. The arrests of the

comrades and the warrants, were in the frames of dismanteling or causing a

wound to the R.O. C.C.F. in September 2009. They were the desperate

attempts of the government to reverse the the climate for the upcoming

elections of October 2009. After the elections PASOK continued the relay

race and the ministry of public order was taken over by sheriff

Chrisohoidis, who being “experienced” in the matter of “terrorism” (17th

November case, Revolutionary Popular Struggle case) continued his work by

targetizing political spaces. The next step was the 600.000 euro bounty on

comrades (S. and M.Seisidis and G.Tsironis). A move that would tempt a

society thirsty for intrigue and money. The warrants based on this logic,

continue, people get involved in the case without any evidence against

them, even without knowing their co-defendants. The clouzeausof the

anti-terrorist got to the point of claiming that parents of an accused

were members of the RAF, even that her father died in a shoot out with

cops which of course is not true. The media parrots contribute to this.

The circulation of photographs of wanted or arrested comrades like an icon

in the windows of tv-trials and police stations. The arrests, the raids

from the muts of the anti-terrorist force, the dozens of un-confirmed

infromation on the police snitching phone lines, the surveillance. Even

the photographs of personal moments or vacations are publicized in

newspapers from a snitch journalist known for his collaboration with the

police. The specific photographs were part of the court papers and should

not have access to them. The prosedure of information is filtered, creates

wrong impressions, darkening of the truth, partial information of the real

dimention of the events as well as partial use of it.



The reason of my persecution is political. I would be incosistent with my

political beliefs if i was waiting for my vindication through the

democratic prosedures and junta courts, which are set up in the soul

warehouses of the state. As an individual with dignity i do not accept

appeal judges to butcher or nuns prosecutors to agree with the deprivation

of my freedom. I am not a member of the organization of which im being

prosecuted for. I am prosecuted because i believe in the multiform

subversive action and the anti-systemic struggle. I am an anarchist, i

deny the charges, i stand in solidarity to the comrades of the R.O. C.C.F.

and to all the decent prisoners who continue the struggle from inside the

prisons.

First Fire Cells Conspiracy trial ends with severe sentences

The verdicts and sentences were announced today in the first Fire Cells
Conspiracy trial (the so-called “Halandri case”), and the end results are
not good. The three-member tribunal imposed even longer sentences than
those requested by the prosecutor. The breakdown is as follows:

Haris Hatzimichelakis: Guilty of forming a terrorist organization,
manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and causing explosions at
the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace, the home of former Interior
Vice-Minister Panayiotis Hinofotis, and the home of PASOK ministers Louka
Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 25 years in prison out of a
total combined sentence of 77 years.

Panayiotis Argyrou: Guilty of forming a terrorist organization,
manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and causing explosions at
the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace, the home of former Interior
Vice-Minister Panayiotis Hinofotis, and the home of PASOK ministers Louka
Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 25 years in prison out of a
total combined sentence of 77 years.

Giorgos Karagiannidis: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing
explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK
ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 20 years in
prison out of a total combined sentence of 32 years.

Panayiotis Masouras: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing
explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK
ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 11 years and 6
months in prison out of a total combined sentence of 19 years. Submitted
an application for a suspended sentence.

Alexandros Mitrousias: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing
explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK
ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 11 years in
prison out of a total combined sentence of 19 years. Chose not to submit
an application for a suspended sentence.

Konstantina Karakatsani: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing
explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK
ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 11 years in
prison out of a total combined sentence of 19 years. Submitted an
application for a suspended sentence.

Manolis Yiospas: Guilty of three misdemeanors including robbery and fraud.
Sentenced to 2 years and 9 months in prison. The prosecutor initially
requested that Yiospas be acquitted, and after the prison sentence was
announced the prosecutor then proposed a three-year suspended sentence,
which the court accepted.

Nikos Vogiatzakis: Acquitted of all charges due to lack of evidence.

Errikos Rallis: Acquitted of all charges due to lack of evidence.

Friends and relatives of the accused, but also the defence, commented on
the severity in the imposition of sentences considering that for the
majority of those sentenced, the court judged that their participation in
the organization was of only a few months.

The state, its court and its other dogs have shown once more what happens
to decent people who live for freedom.

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire : Imprisoned Members Cell release Letter of Solidarity with Hungerstrikers of the 14/14 “bombs case” (Greece, Chile)

This Is Our Job March 7, 2011

On March 2, the Fire Cells Conspiracy Prisoner Cell released the following letter in solidarity with the hunger strike being carried out by the imprisoned “Bombings Case” comrades in Chile.

We have entered a period in which attacks on Domination and its conquered subjects are spreading with undiminished intensity to the four corners of the Earth. Our individualities, despite living and evolving in many different circumstances, share the same positive emotions: disgust and hatred toward this world. We collectivize our negations and arm them with the insatiable desire for action and the burning passion for total liberation. Different borders and languages are obstacles we will demolish to find ourselves side by side, rising up against this system’s orders and decrees, derisively spitting on each law-abiding way of life it offers.

We reject this world—this vast authoritarian construct—and we do not hesitate to point the barrel of our critique at the willingly enslaved majority of the social body, whose defeatist attitude contributes to the preservation of the existing regime. We refuse to degrade, in any way whatsoever, our revolutionary perspective and ethic in the name of wider “social acceptance.” We are proud to be part of the anarchist/antiauthoritarian movement, and we are in favor of all processes and projects that spread the idea and practice of revolution. To us, revolution doesn’t boil down to a specific period of time in the distant future. Rather, it is a response, here and now, to the totalitarianism we see in every expression of Domination. It is our own response to the existential void imposed by contemporary consumer civilization. It is an expression of the rage awakened in us by the agonizing urban environment that restricts our movements and desires, the same expression of rage that can’t be suffocated by the elaborate dead-ends presented to us as “reasonable choices.” It is also all the moments of attack we’ve shared with comrades, as well as the moments to come. It is the enchantment and the magic of connecting praxis to theory, causing little cracks to form in the shop window of determinism. It is all our points of view, and the means of achieving it is the new urban guerrilla war. Self-Organization, Solidarity, Attack, Respect, Trust, and Friendship are its cornerstones, forming the foundation of diffuse urban guerrilla war.

Dozens of our brothers, the well-known but also the unknown, are in prisons here as well as far away. Some of them remain captive on the basis of a few pitiful charges, others because they were unfortunately stopped while carrying out an attack. However, the legal duality of “innocence and guilt” is irrelevant to solidarity, which is a relationship between comrades that considers the dignity and political conscience of each revolutionary. In August 2010, a number of Chilean comrades were arrested during a repressive operation. Eight of them, plus two more arrested in September, were placed in preventive detention, while the rest were granted a provisional release. These comrades are being charged with dozens of revolutionary bombings despite a complete lack of evidence against them. The organizations that carried out said bombings have even stated via communiqué that they have no relationship with the arrestees, whose criminal prosecution by the Chilean state nevertheless continues. The comrades in preventive detention are locked up in high-security wings for 22 hours a day, in cells that measure six square meters. The extension of their captivity fills us with rage. They recently began a hunger strike, demanding their immediate release and the scheduling of their trial date, as well as the abolition of the antiterrorist law inherited by the current Chilean democracy from the Pinochet regime.

We send our warmest greetings to Andrea Urzúa, Camilo Pérez, Carlos Riveros, Felipe Guerra, Francisco Solar, Mónica Caballero, Pablo Morales, and Rodolfo Retamales, and from the bottom of our hearts wish them victory in the difficult struggle they are engaged in. From thousands of miles away, we send them our revolutionary signals, encouragement, courage, and strength. We call on all comrades, including ourselves, to carry out attacks and aggressive expressions of support for their hunger strike in the context of International Solidarity, thereby giving the powerful a taste of the flames that burn in our hearts. From Chile to Greece, the Netherlands to Mexico, Italy to Argentina, England to Switzerland, Germany to Russia, and the U.S. to Turkey, we will use every method to intensify the revolutionary anarchist war. Finally, many special thanks to comrades Andrea Urzúa and Mónica Caballeros for publicly expressing their solidarity with our case.
