    and yet -- certainly letting more people have good cameras and take pictures they like is a good thing. So I'm just being a curmudgeon. And yet and yet -- it's just a gutpunch to see a collection like this; little proofs that we all just want to photograph the same barns forever

    one of the reasons i quit being a photographer was, if i wasn't working on a project, the feeling that every barn had become delilo's 'the most photographed barn in america,' that there was infrequent use to the work, that it had all become banal; photography for its own sake
