I’m in the process of transforming Hummus For Thought into a bilingual platform for in-depth interviews with people who are from and/or think about Lebanon.

Hummus For Thought started in the context of the 2011 uprisings and it has since had such a journey that I still have difficulty explaining it to myself, let alone to others. I am truly grateful for all those who read, shared and supported this project over the years.

But as I had to make changes in my own life the same goes for this blog. So, in the past few years, the articles published here became less and less frequent. It was a rather simple calculation, unfortunately: in my early 20s I could ‘afford’ to dedicate more time on this project. Now that I’m in my late 20s I have had to prioritize other things. I’m sure you all understand.

So, with that in mind, I am happy to announce that Hummus For Thought will be back soon.
