                    'Vault' - outdoor art work
Since the 1850s City of Melbourne has accumulated an eclectic and important range of cultural material, which now numbers over 8000 items.

This includes public art and memorials, contemporary art, historical artefacts, photography and more.

These items plus other information about the collection, such as an art walk map and focused collection essays, is featured on the City Collection website.

The City Collection Program is advised by the City Collection Advisory Panel.
