Grisham spent eight months as White House press secretary, during which time she did not hold a single press briefing. The New York Times reports that Grisham will be replaced by Trump campaign spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany.

Medical professionals have warned there is no proof that hydroxychloroquine is an effective treatment for COVID-19.

New study finds some masks ineffective against COVID-19, as experts restate need for widespread use

The study, published in the widely-cited academic medical journal Annals of Internal Medicine on Monday, noted its limitations in having not included N95 masks in the comparison, and that it is still unknown whether masks "shorten the travel distance of droplets during coughing" at all. Other studies show evidence that any mask prevents virus transmission, but incorrectly-made homemade masks are the least effective.

The increase in fatalities in New York due to COVID-19 may cause serious logistical issues if the death rate does not fall. Some officials are discussing temporary interment options that could involve city parks, but, as of Monday morning, Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio have not yet instituted any such plan.
