Featured Filmmaker: Manu And Thois Discuss Papuan Voices
Thois Wanma and Immanuel (Manu) Hindom are from Papuan Voices (PV), a community of Papuan film makers, that collectively aim to share their stories to the world. Thois and Manu came to Yogyakarta for the Papuan Voices Film Roadshow from 17 to 26 November 2018, where films from Papua were screened in six major cities of Java. Thois is from the Papuan Voices community in Sorong, the largest city of the Indonesian province of West Papua; while Manu belongs to the PV community in Keerom Regency in eastern side of Papua Province of Indonesia.
