I forgot to mention ICICI branch, a block away from the @HDFC_Bank branch where I bank, also rose to the challenge, so my friends tell me.

Why shouldn't I support Indus Ind, SBI or PNB whose branches worked admirably where I live while @HDFC_Bank branches failed miserably?

So, why should I support @HDFC_Bank which abysmally failed to support #DeMonetisation implementation in my neighbourhood? No reason why.

Ironically I had to use the PNB ATM (my first cash withdrawal in any form since #DeMonetisation) tonight though I bank with @HDFC_Bank .

Yet Indus Ind, PNB, SBI and Yes Bank branches next to @HDFC_Bank had cash, their ATMs were refilled twice, queues had at best 20 people.

On 25.11 ATM at my @HDFC_Bank was not refilled. Branch cash counter closed by 11.30 am. Again, manager was mia -- I was told "he is busy".

I made 3 visits to my @HDFC_Bank branch and it was totally mismanaged with no staff in sight. I could not find the manager. He was 'busy'.

Where I live it's easy to spot nonresidents by the Hindi they speak. Cash coolies and agents were from Delhi, young and brash. @HDFC_Bank

Many @HDFC_Bank customers like me think there's more to it than met our eyes. Till 24.11 branches were jammed with cash coolies and agents.

In Greater Noida PSU banks (esp SBI & PNB) and Indus Ind did a superlative job given the constraints. @HDFC_Bank virtually downed shutters.
