    You can’t imagine a prosecutor charging someone who actively tried to help someone break into classified files? It’s as if Woodward and Bernstein actually helped the plumbers break into the Watergate. It’s a huge tell that Wikileaks isn’t media.

    …it’s something legitimate journalists definitely DON’T do, but also something I can’t imagine any prosecutor actually charging if it were the only “assistance” someone had provided.

    If a real journalist breaks into someone's home or office to steal information (even if in the pursuit of a legit story), they can and should be prosecuted. Assange can't even accurately claim to be a journalist. He's a bail-jumping fugitive who conspired in felony crimes.
