    I’d forgotten this. Trump has repeatedly denigrated our country and called us just as bad as Russia, in terms of being “killers.” He said it to O’Reilly & Comey. It’s unbelievably un-American language from a president.

    I went to an in-network hospital and received a bill for out of network services from one of the providers. I called the hospital billing dept and escalated the issue. They removed the charge.

    Most emergency room physicians are not considered in network. However with ACA plans, it was written that in an emergency situation if the facility is network then all related ancillary services are considered network.

    How about getting a $13K hospital bill for an appendectomy? Just hospital bill not surgeon or anesthesiologist. Spent less than 24 hrs in hospital. Had to wait 6 hrs to even be seen while in extreme pain. Was 1 hr from appendix bursting per surgeon, due to long ER wait. $13K! Lol

    An unfortunate pattern here. Asked about basic foreign policy views, Sanders says “I’m not president yet.” Asked about charges of rampant sexual harassment in his campaign, he says “I was busy.” Why he refused to release his taxes? “My wife is my accountant, she’s been busy.”

    This is an utter cop out, and I’d be disappointed if Buttigieg gave this zero-substance of an answer on his basic foreign policy views, let alone Bernie Sanders.

    Had this happen twice with my son in the last 2 years. Even if you did have the foresight to have an emergency and go to an in-network hospital, the ER doctors are often out of network. Go capitalism!!!

    I remember once, finger bleeding from having cuisinarted my finger tip (kids, don’t try this at home!), and I called my insurance from the cab with my bloody hand to make sure I didn’t need pre-approval for the ER (a friend of mine did, and got screwed once). Our system sucks.
