The Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a Statutory Authority that has legislative responsibilities to plan for, manage and respond to a wide range of emergencies.

VICSES has a primary role in managing emergencies caused by floods, storms and earthquakes. It has a critical role in the provision of road accident rescue. It also provides support services to other agencies under Victoria's emergency management arrangements.

As part of that role, VICSES delivers training and public awareness programs on the principles and practices of emergency management.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), VICSES strives to provide high quality training that meets industry needs.
