Erasing history is the point. As for celebrating anyone, that is not the purpose of progressivism, despite the villains it lionizes (e.g., Che Guevara, Karl Marx, Nelson Mandela). It is a wrecking ball, useful only for destroying.

Halimo Hussein’s presence in the U.K. is a gift from Somalia. It will surprise no one to learn that she is “an avid Labour supporter and Jeremy Corbyn fan.” Along the same lines, she backs the #RobThisEngland movement, which is “committed to not paying for services and goods.”

Among progressives, the most highly esteemed attribute you can have is to be “marginalized.” Cultural Marxism demands that ever more identity groups be played off against the core population, so that now even having let your weight get out of control makes you marginalized. Consequently, eating too much will be celebrated at a special dinner at Ivy League Princeton:

According to an online description for the February event, the dinner will be hosted by Health Promotion and Prevention Services (a division of the school’s University Health Services) in conjunction with the Women’s Center.

“This space is intended for fat identified people to share their experiences as a fat person at Princeton in an accepting and supportive environment,” a newsletter put out by the Women’s Center states.

Additionally, participants will “discuss fat positive programming ideas for the spring semester,” with the event description noting that “dinner will be served.”

No doubt there will be seconds on dessert.

Like moonbattery, being overweight is unhealthy in the extreme. It increases the risk of numerous health problems, many of which can be lethal. But then, so does poverty, which liberals promote anyway by attacking free market economics.

Gandhi coauthored a piece entitled “Yoga and the Roots of Cultural Appropriation” with Lillie Wolff. Wolff describes herself as an “antiracist white Jewish organizer, facilitator and healer” who is “passionate about decolonizing and politicizing yoga.” “Decolonizing” means purging it of unclean whiteness.

The moonbats will grudgingly permit even cis-gender, able-bodied, heterosexual white people to engage in yoga, so long as they hate themselves for the “unearned power and privilege of whiteness” while doing it, and obsequiously acknowledge that they are committing cultural appropriation.

While we are combatting the menace of cultural appropriation, why not demand that nonwhites wallow in self-debasing thoughts whenever they make use of the English language, electricity, automobiles, air travel, central heating, indoor plumbing, air conditioning, modern medicine, television, the Internet, universities, et cetera?

Barack Obama referred to himself personally 98 times in his first State of the Union address. In contrast, Trump referred to himself only 26 times in his first SOTU on Tuesday. This enrages moonbats, because instead of referencing himself, he kept referring to something they hate even worse — namely, America.

The National Political Director of the American Civil Liberties Union is a militant moonbat named Faiz Shakir. He barked the following after the speech:

“Tonight, President Trump said the word ‘America’ more than 80 times in his speech. Yet, after a divisive first year, we hear and feel how exclusionary that ‘America’ is, with policies that have harmed so many vulnerable American communities.”

An example would be blacks, more of whom are subjected to the inconvenience of working thanks to the record low black unemployment rate.

Shakir then droned on self-righteously about the ACLU’s intention to advance the interests of illegal aliens in opposition to those of the country they have invaded.

You can see why leftist congresscritter Luis Gutierrez reacted to the “USA” chant by theatrically scuttling out of the chamber. The very mention of America will cause moonbats to seethe as if they had been touched on the forehead with a Bible.

The prominent Congresscritter thinks Trump could be a bad influence on the kids because he is “divisive” — and of course “racist.”

Waters demonstrated her own lack of divisiveness by refusing to attend the SOTU address. She has demonstrated her concern for the well-being of children with her staunch advocacy of abortion.

Peak nursing and midwifery governing bodies will adopt existing international codes to guide ethical behaviour and decision making in March this year, including guidelines for car for minority groups.

A section of the new code describes how nurses and midwives should “de-colonise” care practices for patients of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.

“Cultural safety represents a key philosophical shift from providing care regardless of difference, to care that takes account of peoples’ unique needs,” the code which comes into effect on 1 March 2018 reads.

Physical safety is part of the racist old world that saw patients as individuals. That world must be destroyed. In utopia, we will have cultural safety instead.

“It requires nurses and midwives to undertake an ongoing process of self-reflection and cultural self-awareness, and an acknowledgement of how a nurse’s/midwife’s personal culture impacts on care.”

In other words, at the expense of focusing on the technical aspects of their trade, nurses and midwives are to have their noses rubbed in their supposed “white privilege.”

In relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, cultural safety provides a de-colonising model of practice based on dialogue, communication, power sharing and negotiation, and the acknowledgment of white privilege.

Maybe instead of providing Aborigines with advanced medical care, nurses should wave bones over them and pronounce them cured. That way they can die of their ailments in a condition of cultural safety, as if wicked white people had never come along to spoil everything with their colonizing ways.

The new code of conduct will be adopted by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, Australian College of Midwives (ACM), Australian College of Nursing and Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation.

Robert Conquest’s second rule of politics comes to mind once again. Any organization that is not explicitly right-wing, eventually becomes left-wing, even if it should have nothing whatsoever to do with politics.

Let’s have an update on the appalling and increasingly farcical story of Black Lives Matter radicalism tearing apart the Fort Worth Police Department from within.

The story began when activists like dubious black person Shaun King (a.k.a. Talcum X) made a racial issue out of a disorderly woman named Jacqueline Craig forcing Officer William Martin to arrest her. Officers of Color within the FWPD then doxed Martin, putting at risk his life and that of his pregnant wife.

Craig has tried to milk her 15 minutes by hiring “civil rights” attorney Lee Merritt to sue Martin and the city of Fort Worth. Lo and behold:

Merritt is being sued for allegedly practicing without a license in Texas. …

The Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee filed the suit Monday in Tarrant County, seeking a temporary injunction to stop Merritt from practicing in state courts in Texas.

A Collin County judge granted a temporary injunction, preventing Merritt from practicing law at the state level until a hearing next week.

An exam question for students of moonbattery: Why is it a problem that Merritt is not licensed to practice law in Texas?

That’s right. Because racism — or as Merritt intones:

“Launching baseless investigations and filing frivolous lawsuits is a common tactic used to prevent civil rights lawyers from disrupting unjust practices in Southern States.”

Why should Merritt need to be licensed to loot practice in Texas? His oppressed status and noble goal of imposing social justice are license enough.

By the way, one of the malicious leakers who doxed Officer Martin is former Assistant Chief Abdul Pridgen. Considering the seriousness of his transgression, his punishment was trivial, but he did get busted down to Captain. He responded by filing suit, going on leave, and setting up a GoFundMe page.

Then the city of Seaside, California chose him to be their next Chief of Police out of a pool of 51 applicants.

White officers are sure to know that he will have their backs — and a selection of knives to stick in them.

Congratulations to Seaside. The town is now certifiably politically correct.

Even the left-wing Washington Post found that nine out of 10 Indians know better than to be offended that teams are named after them, despite constantly being told to be offended by exploitative cultural Marxists. Kellerman doesn’t care.

He [barked] that ethnic mascots should be changed “even if it is a minority of the group that is offended,” and said that rule also should apply to the University of Notre Dame, whose athletic teams are known as the Fighting Irish.

“Many Irish-Americans are not offended, but many are. And should that also change? The answer is yes, unequivocally yes,” Kellerman said, as his guest Will Cain groaned and facepalmed.

Moonbat totalitarians like Kellerman are getting desperate for something new to ban if they have to become belligerently offended on behalf of the fellow white people they normally denigrate.

“Pernicious, negative stereotypes of marginalized people that offend even some among them should be changed. It’s not that hard,” Kellerman concluded.
