This publication was prepared by a team of scholars working under the project “Support to participatory legislative process” implemented jointly by the Parliament of Mongolia and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 2013-2016.
The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 2017-2021 for Mongolia has been designed as an integrated programme that fosters cooperation, enhanced coordination and strengthened partnerships, in support of efforts to attain the “Mongolia Sustainable Development Vision – 2030”. A rigorous process of analysis and strategic prioritization has led to the development of this UNDAF.
This National Human Development Report (NHDR) of Mongolia -the sixth in the se-ries – focuses on youth. Through the medium of the human development approach, it analyses the opportunities, choices and challenges facing young people in Mongolia today.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN’s global development network, working in 177 countries and territories.
