On Thursday 28 January 2016, Mongolian version of the State of the World’s Volunteerism Report 2015 from the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme will be launched at 10am at the UN House in Ulaanbaatar, 3rd floor auditorium. The Report was translated into Mongolian by UNV Mongolia in collaboration with Online Volunteers in Mongolia.

Tackling corruption in the construction sector of Mongolia

International Volunteer Day 2015 Your world is changing. Are you? Volunteer!

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Mongolia, together with Mongolian Network of Volunteer Organizations (MNVO) and other local partners, host the annual celebration of the International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2015 between 3 and 5 December 2015. IVD 2015 will not only celebrate volunteerism in all its facets, but also emphasize volunteers’ contributions to the new Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals, from children to the elderly.

Together for women's empowerment: Kazakhstan and Mongolia sharing good practices

At the beginning of October Kazakhstan and Mongolia shared experiences and good practices in promoting women’s empowerment in public and private sectors. A group of 18 Kazakh women entrepreneurs; representatives of the National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy, Ministry of National Economy, the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Combating Corruption, and the JSC "Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture"; civil society leaders; and UNDP Kazakhstan staff visited Mongolia from 7 to 9 October 2015.
