As Day Traders and Swing Traders our mission is simple. We are looking for stocks that we expect will move in a predictable direction. We want to take a position with a predefined stop level and profit target. Sounds easy right? In a lot of ways it is. But there are literally thousands of different strategies for trading the market. Every trader has a unique approach to trading. Our goal is to teach you our strategies. I have developed a series of profitable trading strategies for beginners. Our Trading Courses focus on the most fundamental aspects of a successful trade.
// Chart Patterns
After you understand risk management and proper stock selection, we teach you how to find stock patterns on charts. These patterns are how we base our risk and reward. We look for chart patterns that have well defined areas of support and resistance. We will use previous support levels as our stop price, or our risk, and we look at previous resistance areas as our initial profit target, or our reward. If the profit vs loss ratio is 2:1 we will take the trade. I teach both day trading strategies and swing trading strategies. For day trading we focus primarily on 5min charts while swing traders focus more on daily charts. The patterns in general are the same. I teach traders how to find patterns in real-time including Bull Flags, Bear Flags, Flat Tops, Flat Bottoms, and Rubber Band Reversal Setups.

A trading strategy requires details on the time of day you take these trades, what type of stocks you like to trade, what percentage to success you expect. All our students are required to papertrade and prove to me that they can trade on a percentage of success that is high enough to justify real trading. If you can’t make money in a demo account, you have no business trading a real account. We have saved students hundreds of thousands of dollars by encouraging paper trading while they are learning. The market will be here for a long time to come. The important thing for you right now is to build up the skills to trade the market successfully. You will learn that once you possess the skills to consistently make $20.00/day all it takes to make $200 is larger share size. Then all it takes to make $2000 is again, larger share size. The hardest part is being consistently green just $20/day. So that is our initial target for all of our students. Profitable trading 4/5 days per week for at least 3 months.

Day Trading Requirements - How much money do I need to start?
If you have ever wondered what the requirements were to start trading then you have come to the right place. We wanted to do this video since many people were asking us exactly about the day trading requirements and how much money do I need to start.
The first thing that you need to think about is a strategy to trade with. The important to understand here is that you can learn on your own. You don't need to pay $10,000 for education you can learn 100% on your own. The only thing to understand is that there is a lot of information online that isn't reliable.
So it will take you more time to go through the information and decide what is the good and information and what isn't.
Strategies can cost anywhere from a $5 book or a $10,000 personal one on one training program. Keep in mind that this is one of the key day trading requirements.
After your strategy we need to find a good trading platform. This also depends on the markets that a trader will be operating in. While there are some free trading platforms one thing to understand is that there isn't anything in life that is free. Many times a free trading platform will include higher commissions and fees for withdrawing money, among others.
The key to finding a good platform is make sure that you can pay for a lifetime license instead of paying monthly. There are still a lot of trading platforms that want to charge monthly fees which isn't necessary.
Continuing with our day trading requirements and how much money do I need to start trading.... a reliable internet connection will be key. Internet does not need to be high speed, the minimum required is 1 MB dowbload and .50 upload. A speedtest can be done at http://speakeasy.net
One may also look for a 4g mobile broadband connection.
The next thing to consider is going to be a computer. A laptop would be recommended. A top notch $5,000 computer is not necessary. Most laptops and even computers have enough advanced tech and will be more than sufficient to start your endeavor trading. A $500 refurbished computer is more than enough. Standard processing power, HD space, and a 17inch is sufficient.

Day trader
A day trader is a trader who adheres to a trading style called day trading. This involves buying and subsequently selling financial instruments (e.g. stocks, options, futures, derivatives, currencies) within the same trading day, such that all positions will usually be closed before the market close of the trading day. Depending on one's trading strategy, it may range from several to hundreds of orders a day.
Types
There are two types of day traders: institutional and retail. Both institutional and retail day traders are described as speculators, as opposed to investors.
Institutional day traders work for financial institutions and have certain advantages over retail traders due to their access to more resources, tools, equipment, large amounts of capital and leverage, large availability of fresh fund inflows to trade continuously on the markets, dedicated and direct lines to data centers and exchanges, expensive and high-end trading and analytical software, support teams to help and more. These advantages give them certain edges over retail day traders.

Day trading
Day trading is speculation in securities, specifically buying and selling financial instruments within the same trading day. Strictly, day trading is trading only within a day, such that all positions are closed before the market closes for the trading day. Day trading was once an activity that was exclusive to financial firms and professional speculators. Many day traders are bank or investment firm employees working as specialists in equity investment and fund management. Chat room
The term chat room, or chatroom, is primarily used to describe any form of synchronous conferencing, occasionally even asynchronous conferencing. The term can thus mean any technology ranging from real-time online chat and online interaction with strangers (e.g., online forums) to fully immersive graphical social environments.
The primary use of a chat room is to share information via text with a group of other users. Generally speaking, the ability to converse with multiple people in the same conversation differentiates chat rooms from instant messaging programs, which are more typically designed for one-to-one communication. The users in a particular chat room are generally connected via a shared interest or other similar connection, and chat rooms exist catering for a wide range of subjects. New technology has enabled the use of file sharing and webcam to be included in some programs. This can be considered a chat room.
History
The first online chat system was called Talkomatic, created by Doug Brown and David R. Woolley in 1973 on the PLATO System at the University of Illinois. It offered several channels, each of which could accommodate up to five people, with messages appearing on all users' screens character-by-character as they were typed. Talkomatic was very popular among PLATO users into the mid-1980s. In 2014 Brown and Woolley released a web-based version of Talkomatic.

As Day Traders and Swing Traders our mission is simple. We are looking for stocks that we expect will move in a predictable direction. We want to take a position with a predefined stop level and profit target. Sounds easy right? In a lot of ways it is. But there are literally thousands of different strategies for trading the market. Every trader has a unique approach to trading. Our goal is to teach you our strategies. I have developed a series of profitable trading strategies for beginners. Our Trading Courses focus on the most fundamental aspects of a successful trade.
// Chart Patterns
After you understand risk management and proper stock selection, we teach you how to find stock patterns on charts. These patterns are how we base our risk and reward. We look for chart patterns that have well defined areas of support and resistance. We will use previous support levels as our stop price, or our risk, and we look at previous resistance areas as our initial profit target, or our reward. If the profit vs loss ratio is 2:1 we will take the trade. I teach both day trading strategies and swing trading strategies. For day trading we focus primarily on 5min charts while swing traders focus more on daily charts. The patterns in general are the same. I teach traders how to find patterns in real-time including Bull Flags, Bear Flags, Flat Tops, Flat Bottoms, and Rubber Band Reversal Setups.

A trading strategy requires details on the time of day you take these trades, what type of stocks you like to trade, what percentage to success you expect. All our students are required to papertrade and prove to me that they can trade on a percentage of success that is high enough to justify real trading. If you can’t make money in a demo account, you have no business trading a real account. We have saved students hundreds of thousands of dollars by encouraging paper trading while they are learning. The market will be here for a long time to come. The important thing for you right now is to build up the skills to trade the market successfully. You will learn that once you possess the skills to consistently make $20.00/day all it takes to make $200 is larger share size. Then all it takes to make $2000 is again, larger share size. The hardest part is being consistently green just $20/day. So that is our initial target for all of our students. Profitable trading 4/5 days per week for at least 3 months.

Day Trading Requirements - How much money do I need to start?
If you have ever wondered what the requirements were to start trading then you have come to the right place. We wanted to do this video since many people were asking us exactly about the day trading requirements and how much money do I need to start.
The first thing that you need to think about is a strategy to trade with. The important to understand here is that you can learn on your own. You don't need to pay $10,000 for education you can learn 100% on your own. The only thing to understand is that there is a lot of information online that isn't reliable.
So it will take you more time to go through the information and decide what is the good and information and what isn't.
Strategies can cost anywhere from a $5 book or a $10,000 personal one on one training program. Keep in mind that this is one of the key day trading requirements.
After your strategy we need to find a good trading platform. This also depends on the markets that a trader will be operating in. While there are some free trading platforms one thing to understand is that there isn't anything in life that is free. Many times a free trading platform will include higher commissions and fees for withdrawing money, among others.
The key to finding a good platform is make sure that you can pay for a lifetime license instead of paying monthly. There are still a lot of trading platforms that want to charge monthly fees which isn't necessary.
Continuing with our day trading requirements and how much money do I need to start trading.... a reliable internet connection will be key. Internet does not need to be high speed, the minimum required is 1 MB dowbload and .50 upload. A speedtest can be done at http://speakeasy.net
One may also look for a 4g mobile broadband connection.
The next thing to consider is going to be a computer. A laptop would be recommended. A top notch $5,000 computer is not necessary. Most laptops and even computers have enough advanced tech and will be more than sufficient to start your endeavor trading. A $500 refurbished computer is more than enough. Standard processing power, HD space, and a 17inch is sufficient.

The good news is the plane didn't crash...and there is no bad news.
The lights that dot the hillside outside our window go out one by one...it’s late in Namche. Our floor is less carpet space than duffels overflowing with camera and climbing gear.
Namche is the hub of almost all activity in the high Khumbu and yet now in the off season, it’s hard to find a shop open before noon. We’ve been here for two days, breathing the thinner air, adjusting to the cooler days and hanging out with the Tibetan traders below the village. Thamserku, Kwangde, and Kusum Kanguru tower above us in an impressive trifecta of ice and stone...conditions look good and we are stoked.
Tomorrow we’ll leave before the sun hits the village and wander up the Thame valley towards Tibet. Our friend Chhewang Nima will come along fort he ride.. You’ve never heard of him...but you should have considering he’s climbed Everest 17 times (yeah, you read that right)! His is just another example of Sherpa modesty and stoicism.
The next four days will take us over the Renjo La at roughly 17,400 ft., down to Gokyo, and finally to Phortse where we will stage for our attempt on Tawoche. Three friends, two cameras, one trail....epic.

Wow, I had no idea that this many people would watch this video. The other day it screened twice in front of about 2,000 people at the Snoqualmie Casino, WA. Honestly, this video is pretty light weight, because it doesn't truly exemplify the issues that we can prevent. I didn't choose to talk about the starving fly children that you always see on TV and then ignore, or their irrigation problems, wells, or how they burn their fields just so they can fertilize the soil and plant new agriculture.
This video is about happiness.
It's now been 6 months since I have been to Africa. I miss it very much, because as the days count, I continually forget the impact it has in my life. When I plan my vacations to Hawaii, when I am upset because Urban Outfitters doesn't have a size Medium and I have to go to another store that's 15 minutes away, when my skis need waxing, when a season of Dexter or Entourage is over, when my bread from Trader Joes goes bad after 4 days I have to go exchange it... the frustrations we face aren't equatable.
One could argue, we aren't less happy, but I think we are more frustrated.
I made this video so I could remember, and so others who have no idea what it feels like may be able to empathize, and smile at the same time.

As Day Traders and Swing Traders our mission is simple. We are looking for stocks that we expect will move in a predictable direction. We want to take a position with a predefined stop level and profit target. Sounds easy right? In a lot of ways it is. But there are literally thousands of different strategies for trading the market. Every trader has a unique approach to trading. Our goal is to teach you our strategies. I have developed a series of profitable trading strategies for beginners. Our Trading Courses focus on the most fundamental aspects of a successful trade.
// Chart Patterns
After you understand risk management and proper stock selection, we teach you how to find stock patterns on charts. These patterns are how we base our risk and reward. We look for chart patterns that have well defined areas of support and resistance. We will use previous support levels as our stop price, or our risk, and we look at previous resistance areas as our initial profit target, or our reward. If the profit vs loss ratio is 2:1 we will take the trade. I teach both day trading strategies and swing trading strategies. After you understand risk management and proper stock selection, we teach you how to find stock patterns on charts. These patterns are how we base our risk and reward. We look for chart patterns that have well defined areas of support and resistance. We will use previous support levels as our stop price, or our risk, and we look at previous resistance areas as our initial profit target, or our reward. If the profit vs loss ratio is 2:1 we will take the trade. I teach both day trading strategies and swing trading strategies. Day Trading Requirements - How much money do I need to start?
If you have ever wondered what the requirements were to start trading then you have come to the right place. We wanted to do this video since many people were asking us exactly about the day trading requirements and how much money do I need to start.
The first thing that you need to think about is a strategy to trade with. The important to understand here is that you can learn on your own. You don't need to pay $10,000 for education you can learn 100% on your own. The only thing to understand is that there is a lot of information online that isn't reliable.
So it will take you more time to go through the information and decide what is the good and information and what isn't.
Strategies can cost anywhere from a $5 book or a $10,000 personal one on one training program. Keep in mind that this is one of the key day trading requirements.
After your strategy we need to find a good trading platform. This also depends on the markets that a trader will be operating in. While there are some free trading platforms one thing to understand is that there isn't anything in life that is free. Many times a free trading platform will include higher commissions and fees for withdrawing money, among others.
The key to finding a good platform is make sure that you can pay for a lifetime license instead of paying monthly. There are still a lot of trading platforms that want to charge monthly fees which isn't necessary.
Continuing with our day trading requirements and how much money do I need to start trading.... a reliable internet connection will be key. Internet does not need to be high speed, the minimum required is 1 MB dowbload and .50 upload. A speedtest can be done at http://speakeasy.net
One may also look for a 4g mobile broadband connection.
The next thing to consider is going to be a computer. A laptop would be recommended. A top notch $5,000 computer is not necessary. Most laptops and even computers have enough advanced tech and will be more than sufficient to start your endeavor trading. A $500 refurbished computer is more than enough. Standard processing power, HD space, and a 17inch is sufficient.

The good news is the plane didn't crash...and there is no bad news.
The lights that dot the hillside outside our window go out one by one...it’s late in Namche. Our floor is less carpet space than duffels overflowing with camera and climbing gear.
Namche is the hub of almost all activity in the high Khumbu and yet now in the off season, it’s hard to find a shop open before noon. We’ve been here for two days, breathing the thinner air, adjusting to the cooler days and hanging out with the Tibetan traders below the village. Thamserku, Kwangde, and Kusum Kanguru tower above us in an impressive trifecta of ice and stone...conditions look good and we are stoked.
Tomorrow we’ll leave before the sun hits the village and wander up the Thame valley towards Tibet. Our friend Chhewang Nima will come along fort he ride.. You’ve never heard of him...but you should have considering he’s climbed Everest 17 times (yeah, you read that right)! His is just another example of Sherpa modesty and stoicism.
The next four days will take us over the Renjo La at roughly 17,400 ft., down to Gokyo, and finally to Phortse where we will stage for our attempt on Tawoche. Three friends, two cameras, one trail....epic.

Wow, I had no idea that this many people would watch this video. The other day it screened twice in front of about 2,000 people at the Snoqualmie Casino, WA. Honestly, this video is pretty light weight, because it doesn't truly exemplify the issues that we can prevent. I didn't choose to talk about the starving fly children that you always see on TV and then ignore, or their irrigation problems, wells, or how they burn their fields just so they can fertilize the soil and plant new agriculture.
This video is about happiness.
It's now been 6 months since I have been to Africa. I miss it very much, because as the days count, I continually forget the impact it has in my life. When I plan my vacations to Hawaii, when I am upset because Urban Outfitters doesn't have a size Medium and I have to go to another store that's 15 minutes away, when my skis need waxing, when a season of Dexter or Entourage is over, when my bread from Trader Joes goes bad after 4 days I have to go exchange it... the frustrations we face aren't equatable.
One could argue, we aren't less happy, but I think we are more frustrated.
I made this video so I could remember, and so others who have no idea what it feels like may be able to empathize, and smile at the same time.

Each day you can open only one door ... If the cat is not there, the door closes, and you must wait until the next day before you can open a door again. If the cat was always to sit behind the same door, you would be able to find it in at most seven days, by opening each door in turn ... How many days do you now need to make sure you can catch the cat? ... On Day 2 the cat can only be behind doors 2,3 and 4 ... On Day 2 I open door 3....
