Deva Premal

Deva Premal (born 2 April 1970 in Nürnberg, Germany) is a musician known for her meditative spiritual new-age music, which puts ancient Buddhist and Sanskrit mantras—as well as chants in other languages—into atmospheric contemporary settings.

Biography

Premal met her partner in life and music, Miten, at the Osho ashram in Pune, India in 1990, where she was studying reflexology, shiatsu, cranio-sacral therapy, and massage. They have been touring together since 1992, offering concerts and chant workshops worldwide.

Best known for her top-selling chant CDs, Premal is a classically trained musician who grew up singing mantras in a German home permeated with Eastern Spirituality. Her albums have topped the New Age charts throughout the world since her first release, The Essence (1998), which features the "Gayatri Mantra." Premal and Miten's record company, Prabhu Music, reports sales of over 900,000 albums.

Deva Premal began her journey with mantra in her mother's womb, as her father chanted the "Gayatri Mantra"—one of the most sacred mantras of Sanatana Dharma—to her daily. The mantra continued to be her bedtime lullaby after she was born. Many years later, she heard a friend singing the Gayatri and was inspired to put together an album highlighting its sacredness. Premal and Miten recorded The Essence (1998) in her mother's apartment in Germany, where she was born and where she first heard the Gayartri mantra.

Jaiganesh

Jai Ganesh (Tamil: ஜெய்கணேஷ்) was an Indian Tamil film actor, who mostly acted in supporting roles and was perhaps best known for his role in films like Aval Oru Thodar Kathai and Attukara Alamelu. His most popular roles have been as a supporting actor or even as a villain in films like Thaayillamal Naanillai, Athisaya Piravi and few more. He was born in 1946.

He was introduced into the film industry by director K. Balachander in Aval Oru Thodar Kathai. From then on, he acted in many films as hero and also as character actor. Some of his famous films in 70s are Neeya, Pilot Premnath, Vattathukkul Sathuram and Vanakathukuriya Kathaliyae& Azhage unnai Aradhikkiren.

Jai Ganesh died of cancer on 11 February 2001, at the age of 54. He acted in lot of movies as hero as well as in supporting roles with famous actors including Sivaji Ganesan, Jaishankar, Sivakumar, Muthuraman, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Karthik Muthuraman, Vijay and Ajith Kumar.

Sukhwinder Singh

Sukhwinder Singh (born 18 July 1974) is an Indian Bollywood playback singer. Singh is famous for singing "Chaiyya Chaiyya" for which he won the Best Male Playback Award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards. The song, from Mani Ratnam's 1998 film Dil Se.., was composed by A. R. Rahman, written by Gulzar, and sung in duet with Sapna Awasthi. It was also featured in the musical Bombay Dreams and, in remixed arrangements, in the titles and credits segments of Spike Lee's 2006 film, Inside Man. Singh later gained more international fame for singing "Jai Ho" from the film Slumdog Millionaire, which won an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media. His rendition for the 2014 released film Haider fetched him the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer.

Singh originally comes from Amritsar, Punjab. He first performed on stage at the age of 8, singing the Kishore Kumar & Lata Mangeshkar number "Sa re ga ma pa, pa, pa, ga ma re, ga re mere sang mere saajna", from the 1970 movie Abhinetri. He also released a Punjabi album called Munda Southhall Da with T. Singh joined Laxmikant-Pyarelal’s troupe and quickly became a music arranger, before heading to the south of India to look for work. At this time he did a film called Rakshakudu.

Plot: Ringo's directional debut Kranti marks the beginning of a new era of Bengali action films. It is the story of a student Jeet (Jeet) who arrives in the city with his parents and sister after changing residences. Their struggle for existence in that city begins from that very moment. Everyone is terrified of Vishnu (Ashish Vidyarthi), the local don, and it turns out that Deva (Rishi Kaushik) is the Don's younger brother who studies in the same college as Jeet. Deva is the biggest trouble maker in the college along with his gang and nothing stops them from creating trouble including teasing and passing coarse comments at girls . Jeet tries to take control of the situation and there are a number of occasions when he clashes with Deva and beats up a few of his key associates. In retaliation Vishnu's men cause havoc by raping Jeet's elder sister Debosree (Locket Chatterjee) , killing his close friend from college Iqbal (Biswanath Basu) and finally killing his father (Bodhisatwa Majumdar) . All these incidents have a tremendous impact on Jeet who decides to kill Vishnu at any cost. He achieves success at the end of the film when he kills Deva and then finishes off Vishnu and takes his revenge.

Though Arjun realizes what is really happening, Sailaja falls prey to the foils of the Deva and her father. The young lovers part ways; Sailaja becomes a leading lady in the movies and Arjun works with his uncle in a quarry as a demolition expert. Deva is cheated out of some money by Sailaja's father, and as revenge, he finds out where Sailaja now lives and kidnaps her from right under her parents' noses. Sailaja's father realizes that the only person who is daring enough and cares enough to get his daughter back is Arjun and goes to him with his pleas. It takes much convincing, but Arjun finally decides to rescue Sailaja but for reasons other than love. How successful is Arjun in rescuing Sailaja? Will Sailaja realize that Arjun was true in his love? Will they fall in love again?
