If you were planning to visit the first National Marine Park in Albania and be amazed with its rich marine life, you do not have to wonder around. Visitors can now benefit from an Information Center recently established in Radhime which serves as the hub for Karaburun - Sazan-National Park.
12 municipalities in Albania are selected as partners for implementation of the Regional Programme for Local Democracy in Western Balkans (ReLOaD). The partnership consists of a grant scheme of 1,130,952 Euro to be granted to civil society organizations (CSO) operating in the 12 selected municipalities.

Albania's stunning coastal beauty
Turquoise waters. Rich underwater fauna and biodiversity. Ruins of sunken Greek, Roman and World War II ships. This is Karaburun Sazan Peninsula – the first and only national marine park of Albania.
The park covers a marine area stretching 1.9 km along the coastlines of Karaburun Peninsula and Sazan Island on the southwestern side of Albania where the Adriatic and Ionion Seas meet.

“Local Governance Mapping in Albania” is a survey combining citizens’ perceptions and municipal officials’ accounts on Good Governance.Four Good Governance dimensions are assessed: Effectiveness and Efficiency, Transparency and Rule of Law, Accountability and Participation.
