This video presentation brings to light a number of research and findings regarding the legend of King Solomon's Mine and his exotic visitor the Queen of Sheba. What do Bible scholars and archaeologists believe?
The legendary King Solomon is arguably one of the most recognizable characters within the pages of the Old Testament. The third King of Israel, Solomon was a renowned ruler that oversaw growth from a single state into a venerable superpower of the Middle East in biblical times. During his near four-decade regency, he had a reputation for wisdom and clear judgment. But King Solomon had another aspect to his legend: his immense wealth from gold that historians say came from the lost mine of Ophir. This brings us to one of the great mysteries of all times that nobody can seem to agree on. Where was Ophir?
Unfortunately for historians, the Bible never went into specific detail about King Solomon’s mine of Ophir. There was never a specific record of its location: only general clues that could pertain to a number of places. Scholars believe that Solomon worked with another regent, Phoenician King Hiram, to acquire vast quantities of gold. Hiram ruled a region known at the time as Tyre, which is believed to be located within modern-day Lebanon.
The Phoenicians were renowned sailors and established several outposts throughout the Mediterranean sea. Some also say that part of this commerce extended into the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, perhaps even as far south as Africa. Because the Phoenicians traveled extensively, the exact location of this fabled source of gold is open to interpretation.

In the original story, she brings a caravan of valuable gifts for the Israelite King Solomon. This tale has undergone extensive Jewish, Islamic, and Ethiopian elaborations, and has become the subject of one of the most widespread and fertile cycles of legends in the Orient.
Modern historians identify Sheba with the South Arabian kingdom of Saba in present-day Yemen. The queen's existence is disputed among historians.

ఆత్మీయ హైందవ సోదరసోదరీమణులకు నమస్సుమాంజలి. ఎన్నో జన్మల పుణ్యఫలం చేత మనం ఈ పుణ్యభూమిలో, సనాతనధర్మంలో జన్మించాం.
యుగ ప్రభావం చేత మన ధర్మంపై అనేకరకాల దుష్టశక్తులు నానావిధాలుగా దాడి చేస్తున్నాయి. నేడు సమాజంలో ఎక్కడ చూసినా వేదాలు, పురాణాలు, ఇతిహాసాలయిన రామాయణ మహాభారతాల పైన విషప్రచారాలు, బహిరంగ విమ్మర్శలు సర్వసాధారణం అయిపోయాయి. మనవాళ్లల్లో చాలామందికి మన ధర్మంపై సరైన అవగాహన లేదు (ఈ పరిస్థితి కి నేటి విద్యావ్యవస్థ కూడా ఒక కారణం అయి ఉండవచ్చు). అందువల్ల వారు ఇతరుల మాయలో తేలికగా చిక్కుకుంటున్నారు.
మనలో ఐక్యత లేకపోవడం వలన రాజకీయ పార్టీలు హిందువుల మనోభావాలను, సంక్షేమాన్ని గురించి ఆలోచించే పరిస్థితి లేదు. పూర్వం ఇలాంటి విపత్కర పరిస్థితుల్లో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, స్వామి వివేకానంద లాంటి మహానుభావులు సనాతనధర్మాన్ని తమ భుజస్కందాలపై నిలబెట్టారు. వారి అవిరళ కృషి ఫలితంగానే ఈనాటికీ మన ధర్మంయొక్క పునాదులు దృఢంగా ఉన్నాయి. ఇప్పుడు ఆ మహామహుల కృషిని, త్యాగఫలాన్ని మనం వ్యర్థం కానీయరాదు. వారి స్పూర్తితో మనమంతా ఒక్కొక్కరూ ఒక్కో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, వివేకానందుల వలే మారాలి.
స్వాతంత్య్ర పోరాటంలో పాల్గొనే అదృష్టం మనకి దక్కకపోయినా, మన ధర్మరక్షణలో భాగస్వాములై మన జన్మ సార్ధకం చేసుకుందాం.
ఈ సంకల్పంతోనే 2015 ఆగష్టు 31వ తేదీనే “శివశక్తి” ఆవిర్భావం జరిగింది. సామాజిక మాధ్యమాలలో, బహిరంగసభల్లో కొన్ని సంస్థలు, వ్యక్తులు పనిగట్టుకుని హిందూ ధర్మాన్ని విమర్శించడం, హిందూ దేవీ దేవతలను అవమానించడం చూసి భరించలేక “సనాతన ధర్మ రక్షణే జీవిత ధ్యేయంగా 30 మంది కలసి స్థాపించిన శివశక్తి నేడు వేలమందితో కూడిన సంస్థగా భాసిల్లుతోంది.
హైందవ మత గ్రంధాలను వక్రీకరిస్తూ వస్తున్న గ్రంథాలు “వేదాలలో ఏసు, పురాణాలలో మహమ్మద్ ప్రవక్త, హైందవ క్రైస్తవం, త్రైత సిద్ధాంత భగవద్గీత” లాంటి వక్రీకరణ గ్రంథాలను కూడా “శివశక్తి” వ్యతిరేకీస్తూ వాటిని ఖండిస్తూ సవివరంగా సనాతన ధర్మ గ్రంథాల తత్వాన్ని వివరిస్తుంది. ఈ లక్ష్య సాధనలో భాగంగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక గ్రంథాలపై జరుగుతున్న అసత్య ప్రచారాలను, అన్ని మత గ్రంథాలలో ఉన్న సత్యాన్ని ప్రజలకు తెలియజేసి ప్రజలని చైతన్యవంతులని చేయడం కోసం ప్రజల సమక్షంలో బహిరంగ చర్చా వేదికలను నిర్వహించడం జరిగింది. పూర్తి సమాచారం కోసం youtube నందు karunakar sugguna అని కాని లేదా shivashakti అని కాని సెర్చ్ చేసి వీడియోలు వీక్షించవచ్చు.

Ophir
Ophir (/ˈoʊfər/;Hebrew: אוֹפִיר, Modern Ofir, Tiberian ʼÔp̄îr) is a port or region mentioned in the Bible, famous for its wealth. King Solomon received a cargo of gold, silver, sandalwood, pearls, ivory, apes and peacocks from Ophir, every three years.
Biblical references
Ophir in Genesis 10 (the Table of Nations) is said to be the name of one of the sons of Joktan. The Books of Kings and Chronicles tell of a joint expedition to Ophir by King Solomon and the Tyrian king Hiram I from Eziongeber, a port on the Red Sea, that brought back large amounts of gold, precious stones and 'algum wood' and of a later failed expedition by king Jehoshaphat of Judah. The famous 'gold of Ophir' is referenced in several other books of the Hebrew Bible.
Early Christian traditions
Details about the three of Joktan's sons, Sheba, Ophir and Havilah, were preserved in a tradition known in divergent forms from three early Christian (pre-Islamic) sources: the Arabic Kitab al-Magall (part of Clementine literature), the Syriac Cave of Treasures, and the Ethiopic Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan.

But King Solomon had another aspect to his legend: his immense wealth from gold that historians say came from the lost mine of Ophir. This brings us to one of the great mysteries of all times that nobody can seem to agree on. Where was Ophir?
Unfortunately for historians, the Bible never went into specific detail about King Solomon’s mine of Ophir. There was never a specific record of its location: only general clues that could pertain to a number of places. Scholars believe that Solomon worked with another regent, Phoenician King Hiram, to acquire vast quantities of gold. Hiram ruled a region known at the time as Tyre, which is believed to be located within modern-day Lebanon.
The Phoenicians were renowned sailors and established several outposts throughout the Mediterranean sea. Some also say that part of this commerce extended into the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, perhaps even as far south as Africa. Because the Phoenicians traveled extensively, the exact location of this fabled source of gold is open to interpretation.

ఆత్మీయ హైందవ సోదరసోదరీమణులకు నమస్సుమాంజలి. ఎన్నో జన్మల పుణ్యఫలం చేత మనం ఈ పుణ్యభూమిలో, సనాతనధర్మంలో జన్మించాం.
యుగ ప్రభావం చేత మన ధర్మంపై అనేకరకాల దుష్టశక్తులు నానావిధాలుగా దాడి చేస్తున్నాయి. నేడు సమాజంలో ఎక్కడ చూసినా వేదాలు, పురాణాలు, ఇతిహాసాలయిన రామాయణ మహాభారతాల పైన విషప్రచారాలు, బహిరంగ విమ్మర్శలు సర్వసాధారణం అయిపోయాయి. మనవాళ్లల్లో చాలామందికి మన ధర్మంపై సరైన అవగాహన లేదు (ఈ పరిస్థితి కి నేటి విద్యావ్యవస్థ కూడా ఒక కారణం అయి ఉండవచ్చు). అందువల్ల వారు ఇతరుల మాయలో తేలికగా చిక్కుకుంటున్నారు.
మనలో ఐక్యత లేకపోవడం వలన రాజకీయ పార్టీలు హిందువుల మనోభావాలను, సంక్షేమాన్ని గురించి ఆలోచించే పరిస్థితి లేదు. పూర్వం ఇలాంటి విపత్కర పరిస్థితుల్లో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, స్వామి వివేకానంద లాంటి మహానుభావులు సనాతనధర్మాన్ని తమ భుజస్కందాలపై నిలబెట్టారు. వారి అవిరళ కృషి ఫలితంగానే ఈనాటికీ మన ధర్మంయొక్క పునాదులు దృఢంగా ఉన్నాయి. ఇప్పుడు ఆ మహామహుల కృషిని, త్యాగఫలాన్ని మనం వ్యర్థం కానీయరాదు. వారి స్పూర్తితో మనమంతా ఒక్కొక్కరూ ఒక్కో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, వివేకానందుల వలే మారాలి.
స్వాతంత్య్ర పోరాటంలో పాల్గొనే అదృష్టం మనకి దక్కకపోయినా, మన ధర్మరక్షణలో భాగస్వాములై మన జన్మ సార్ధకం చేసుకుందాం.
ఈ సంకల్పంతోనే 2015 ఆగష్టు 31వ తేదీనే “శివశక్తి” ఆవిర్భావం జరిగింది. సామాజిక మాధ్యమాలలో, బహిరంగసభల్లో కొన్ని సంస్థలు, వ్యక్తులు పనిగట్టుకుని హిందూ ధర్మాన్ని విమర్శించడం, హిందూ దేవీ దేవతలను అవమానించడం చూసి భరించలేక “సనాతన ధర్మ రక్షణే జీవిత ధ్యేయంగా 30 మంది కలసి స్థాపించిన శివశక్తి నేడు వేలమందితో కూడిన సంస్థగా భాసిల్లుతోంది.
హైందవ మత గ్రంధాలను వక్రీకరిస్తూ వస్తున్న గ్రంథాలు “వేదాలలో ఏసు, పురాణాలలో మహమ్మద్ ప్రవక్త, హైందవ క్రైస్తవం, త్రైత సిద్ధాంత భగవద్గీత” లాంటి వక్రీకరణ గ్రంథాలను కూడా “శివశక్తి” వ్యతిరేకీస్తూ వాటిని ఖండిస్తూ సవివరంగా సనాతన ధర్మ గ్రంథాల తత్వాన్ని వివరిస్తుంది. ఈ లక్ష్య సాధనలో భాగంగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక గ్రంథాలపై జరుగుతున్న అసత్య ప్రచారాలను, అన్ని మత గ్రంథాలలో ఉన్న సత్యాన్ని ప్రజలకు తెలియజేసి ప్రజలని చైతన్యవంతులని చేయడం కోసం ప్రజల సమక్షంలో బహిరంగ చర్చా వేదికలను నిర్వహించడం జరిగింది. పూర్తి సమాచారం కోసం youtube నందు karunakar sugguna అని కాని లేదా shivashakti అని కాని సెర్చ్ చేసి వీడియోలు వీక్షించవచ్చు.
ఇవి కాక మన ధర్మం యొక్క ఔదార్యం గురుంచి సోషల్ మీడియాలో విస్తృత ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నాము మరియు పండుగలు పర్వదినాలలో దేవాలయాలలో భక్తులకు కరపత్రాల ద్వారా అవగాహన కలిపిస్తూ సేవా కార్యక్రమాలు కూడా నిర్వహిస్తున్నాము.

యుగ ప్రభావం చేత మన ధర్మంపై అనేకరకాల దుష్టశక్తులు నానావిధాలుగా దాడి చేస్తున్నాయి. నేడు సమాజంలో ఎక్కడ చూసినా వేదాలు, పురాణాలు, ఇతిహాసాలయిన రామాయణ మహాభారతాల పైన విషప్రచారాలు, బహిరంగ విమ్మర్శలు సర్వసాధారణం అయిపోయాయి. మనవాళ్లల్లో చాలామందికి మన ధర్మంపై సరైన అవగాహన లేదు (ఈ పరిస్థితి కి నేటి విద్యావ్యవస్థ కూడా ఒక కారణం అయి ఉండవచ్చు). అందువల్ల వారు ఇతరుల మాయలో తేలికగా చిక్కుకుంటున్నారు.
మనలో ఐక్యత లేకపోవడం వలన రాజకీయ పార్టీలు హిందువుల మనోభావాలను, సంక్షేమాన్ని గురించి ఆలోచించే పరిస్థితి లేదు. పూర్వం ఇలాంటి విపత్కర పరిస్థితుల్లో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, స్వామి వివేకానంద లాంటి మహానుభావులు సనాతనధర్మాన్ని తమ భుజస్కందాలపై నిలబెట్టారు. వారి అవిరళ కృషి ఫలితంగానే ఈనాటికీ మన ధర్మంయొక్క పునాదులు దృఢంగా ఉన్నాయి. ఇప్పుడు ఆ మహామహుల కృషిని, త్యాగఫలాన్ని మనం వ్యర్థం కానీయరాదు. వారి స్పూర్తితో మనమంతా ఒక్కొక్కరూ ఒక్కో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, వివేకానందుల వలే మారాలి.
స్వాతంత్య్ర పోరాటంలో పాల్గొనే అదృష్టం మనకి దక్కకపోయినా, మన ధర్మరక్షణలో భాగస్వాములై మన జన్మ సార్ధకం చేసుకుందాం.
ఈ సంకల్పంతోనే 2015 ఆగష్టు 31వ తేదీనే “శివశక్తి” ఆవిర్భావం జరిగింది. సామాజిక మాధ్యమాలలో, బహిరంగసభల్లో కొన్ని సంస్థలు, వ్యక్తులు పనిగట్టుకుని హిందూ ధర్మాన్ని విమర్శించడం, హిందూ దేవీ దేవతలను అవమానించడం చూసి భరించలేక “సనాతన ధర్మ రక్షణే జీవిత ధ్యేయంగా 30 మంది కలసి స్థాపించిన శివశక్తి నేడు వేలమందితో కూడిన సంస్థగా భాసిల్లుతోంది.
హైందవ మత గ్రంధాలను వక్రీకరిస్తూ వస్తున్న గ్రంథాలు “వేదాలలో ఏసు, పురాణాలలో మహమ్మద్ ప్రవక్త, హైందవ క్రైస్తవం, త్రైత సిద్ధాంత భగవద్గీత” లాంటి వక్రీకరణ గ్రంథాలను కూడా “శివశక్తి” వ్యతిరేకీస్తూ వాటిని ఖండిస్తూ సవివరంగా సనాతన ధర్మ గ్రంథాల తత్వాన్ని వివరిస్తుంది. ఈ లక్ష్య సాధనలో భాగంగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక గ్రంథాలపై జరుగుతున్న అసత్య ప్రచారాలను, అన్ని మత గ్రంథాలలో ఉన్న సత్యాన్ని ప్రజలకు తెలియజేసి ప్రజలని చైతన్యవంతులని చేయడం కోసం ప్రజల సమక్షంలో బహిరంగ చర్చా వేదికలను నిర్వహించడం జరిగింది. పూర్తి సమాచారం కోసం youtube నందు karunakar sugguna అని కాని లేదా shivashakti అని కాని సెర్చ్ చేసి వీడియోలు వీక్షించవచ్చు.

The legendary King Solomon is arguably one of the most recognizable characters within the pages of the Old Testament. The third King of Israel, Solomon was a renowned ruler that oversaw growth from a single state into a venerable superpower of the Middle East in biblical times. During his near four-decade regency, he had a reputation for wisdom and clear judgment. But King Solomon had another aspect to his legend: his immense wealth from gold that historians say came from the lost mine of Ophir. This brings us to one of the great mysteries of all times that nobody can seem to agree on. Where was Ophir?
Unfortunately for historians, the Bible never went into specific detail about King Solomon’s mine of Ophir. There was never a specific record of its location: only general clues that could pertain to a number of places. Scholars believe that Solomon worked with another regent, Phoenician King Hiram, to acquire vast quantities of gold. Hiram ruled a region known at the time as Tyre, which is believed to be located within modern-day Lebanon.
The Phoenicians were renowned sailors and established several outposts throughout the Mediterranean sea. Some also say that part of this commerce extended into the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, perhaps even as far south as Africa. Because the Phoenicians traveled extensively, the exact location of this fabled source of gold is open to interpretation.

The Queen of Sheba (Hebrew: מלכת שבא; Arabic: ٱلْمَلِكَة بَلْقِيْس, romanized: Al-Malikah Balqīs) is a figure first mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. In the original story, she brings a caravan of valuable gifts for the Israelite King Solomon. This tale has undergone extensive Jewish, Islamic, and Ethiopian elaborations, and has become the subject of one of the most widespread and fertile cycles of legends in the Orient.
Modern historians identify Sheba with the South Arabian kingdom of Saba in present-day Yemen. The queen's existence is disputed among historians.

ఆత్మీయ హైందవ సోదరసోదరీమణులకు నమస్సుమాంజలి. ఎన్నో జన్మల పుణ్యఫలం చేత మనం ఈ పుణ్యభూమిలో, సనాతనధర్మంలో జన్మించాం.
యుగ ప్రభావం చేత మన ధర్మంపై అనేకరకాల దుష్టశక్తులు నానావిధాలుగా దాడి చేస్తున్నాయి. నేడు సమాజంలో ఎక్కడ చూసినా వేదాలు, పురాణాలు, ఇతిహాసాలయిన రామాయణ మహాభారతాల పైన విషప్రచారాలు, బహిరంగ విమ్మర్శలు సర్వసాధారణం అయిపోయాయి. మనవాళ్లల్లో చాలామందికి మన ధర్మంపై సరైన అవగాహన లేదు (ఈ పరిస్థితి కి నేటి విద్యావ్యవస్థ కూడా ఒక కారణం అయి ఉండవచ్చు). అందువల్ల వారు ఇతరుల మాయలో తేలికగా చిక్కుకుంటున్నారు.
మనలో ఐక్యత లేకపోవడం వలన రాజకీయ పార్టీలు హిందువుల మనోభావాలను, సంక్షేమాన్ని గురించి ఆలోచించే పరిస్థితి లేదు. పూర్వం ఇలాంటి విపత్కర పరిస్థితుల్లో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, స్వామి వివేకానంద లాంటి మహానుభావులు సనాతనధర్మాన్ని తమ భుజస్కందాలపై నిలబెట్టారు. వారి అవిరళ కృషి ఫలితంగానే ఈనాటికీ మన ధర్మంయొక్క పునాదులు దృఢంగా ఉన్నాయి. ఇప్పుడు ఆ మహామహుల కృషిని, త్యాగఫలాన్ని మనం వ్యర్థం కానీయరాదు. వారి స్పూర్తితో మనమంతా ఒక్కొక్కరూ ఒక్కో శంకరులు, రామానుజులు, వివేకానందుల వలే మారాలి.
స్వాతంత్య్ర పోరాటంలో పాల్గొనే అదృష్టం మనకి దక్కకపోయినా, మన ధర్మరక్షణలో భాగస్వాములై మన జన్మ సార్ధకం చేసుకుందాం.
ఈ సంకల్పంతోనే 2015 ఆగష్టు 31వ తేదీనే “శివశక్తి” ఆవిర్భావం జరిగింది. సామాజిక మాధ్యమాలలో, బహిరంగసభల్లో కొన్ని సంస్థలు, వ్యక్తులు పనిగట్టుకుని హిందూ ధర్మాన్ని విమర్శించడం, హిందూ దేవీ దేవతలను అవమానించడం చూసి భరించలేక “సనాతన ధర్మ రక్షణే జీవిత ధ్యేయంగా 30 మంది కలసి స్థాపించిన శివశక్తి నేడు వేలమందితో కూడిన సంస్థగా భాసిల్లుతోంది.
హైందవ మత గ్రంధాలను వక్రీకరిస్తూ వస్తున్న గ్రంథాలు “వేదాలలో ఏసు, పురాణాలలో మహమ్మద్ ప్రవక్త, హైందవ క్రైస్తవం, త్రైత సిద్ధాంత భగవద్గీత” లాంటి వక్రీకరణ గ్రంథాలను కూడా “శివశక్తి” వ్యతిరేకీస్తూ వాటిని ఖండిస్తూ సవివరంగా సనాతన ధర్మ గ్రంథాల తత్వాన్ని వివరిస్తుంది. ఈ లక్ష్య సాధనలో భాగంగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక గ్రంథాలపై జరుగుతున్న అసత్య ప్రచారాలను, అన్ని మత గ్రంథాలలో ఉన్న సత్యాన్ని ప్రజలకు తెలియజేసి ప్రజలని చైతన్యవంతులని చేయడం కోసం ప్రజల సమక్షంలో బహిరంగ చర్చా వేదికలను నిర్వహించడం జరిగింది. పూర్తి సమాచారం కోసం youtube నందు karunakar sugguna అని కాని లేదా shivashakti అని కాని సెర్చ్ చేసి వీడియోలు వీక్షించవచ్చు.
ఇవి కాక మన ధర్మం యొక్క ఔదార్యం గురుంచి సోషల్ మీడియాలో విస్తృత ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నాము మరియు పండుగలు పర్వదినాలలో దేవాలయాలలో భక్తులకు కరపత్రాల ద్వారా అవగాహన కలిపిస్తూ సేవా కార్యక్రమాలు కూడా నిర్వహిస్తున్నాము.
పై కార్యక్రమాలు ఇంకా విస్తృతంగా నిర్వహించడానికి క్షేత్ర స్థాయిలో హిందూధర్మం ఎదుర్కొoటున్న సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికై వ్యవస్థ నిర్మాణాన్ని చేపట్టడం జరిగింది.

Ophir (/ˈoʊfər/;Hebrew: אוֹפִיר, Modern Ofir, Tiberian ʼÔp̄îr) is a port or region mentioned in the Bible, famous for its wealth. King Solomon received a cargo of gold, silver, sandalwood, pearls, ivory, apes and peacocks from Ophir, every three years.
Biblical references
Ophir in Genesis 10 (the Table of Nations) is said to be the name of one of the sons of Joktan. The Books of Kings and Chronicles tell of a joint expedition to Ophir by King Solomon and the Tyrian king Hiram I from Eziongeber, a port on the Red Sea, that brought back large amounts of gold, precious stones and 'algum wood' and of a later failed expedition by king Jehoshaphat of Judah. The famous 'gold of Ophir' is referenced in several other books of the Hebrew Bible.
Early Christian traditions
Details about the three of Joktan's sons, Sheba, Ophir and Havilah, were preserved in a tradition known in divergent forms from three early Christian (pre-Islamic) sources: the Arabic Kitab al-Magall (part of Clementine literature), the Syriac Cave of Treasures, and the Ethiopic Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan.
