Army Veteran Gets Pulled Over By Police Officer, But Then He Points To The Front Of His Car.
Anybody who has had a family member serve (or continues to serve) in the military will know that it is no easy task; not being able to chat with them, children missing their parents overseas and the imminent fear of what is happening around them.
The feeling of being reunited with a loved one brings forth a whirlwind of emotions ranging from relief to sheer exhilaration.
Sadly, not everybody makes it home safely and the grief people face from losing a friend or family member while in the line of duty is nothing short of traumatic.

William Jazwinski, a former Heavy Wheeled Vehicle Operator in the US army and he recounted the story on Facebook of when he was pulled over by a police officer.
Me: Goodmorning officer. Was I speeding?
Officer: Goodmorning, no not speeding. Just wanted to stop ya and say thank you for your service.
Me: oooh the bumper sticker, nice. Your welcome sir. My pleasure.
Officer: where did you serve?
Me: I went to Iraq. Did a 15 monther. Out of Ft Benning.
Officer: well alright. My son went to Iraq. He didn’t make it home.
Me: man, I’m so sorry to hear that. I just finished a PTSD program.
Officer: I see you have a flag in the truck. The one we got for him! Well, it’s at the house. Can I ask a question?
Me: Sure.
Officer: Do you mind stepping out and receiving a hug. You remind me of my son. I pulled you over. I thought you were him. I still don’t believe it most days he’s gone.
William then went on to say: “With tears in both our eyes I got out and hugged that man. I’m talking about for a minute or two crying. Down to our knees crying. I needed that.
To all the family and friends of soldiers, fighting or done fighting, God bless you. Your peace and your hearts. It’s so hard without them, I know. This road is a tremendous one. Love to all.”
It turns out that through grief, sometimes it can take a total stranger to bring solace to someone else and by the sounds of things, it’s an encounter that neither of them will ever forget.

Veteran
A veteran (from Latin vetus, meaning "old") is a person who has had long service or experience in a particular occupation or field; "A veteran of..."
This page refers to military veterans, i.e., a person who has served or is serving in the armed forces. Those veterans that have had direct exposure to acts of military conflict may also be referred to as war veterans (although not all military conflicts, or areas in which armed combat takes place, are necessarily referred to as wars).
Public attitude towards veterans
Military veterans often receive special treatment in their respective countries due to the sacrifices they made during wars. Different countries handle this differently: some openly support veterans through government programs, while others ignore them. Veterans are also subject to illnesses directly related to their military service such as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). War veterans are generally treated with great respect and honour for their contribution to the world and country by their own nationals. Conversely there are often negative feelings towards the veterans of foreign nations held long after the war is over; for example towards the German Nazi soldiers, yet they are no less veterans of war than those of the winning side. There are exceptions. Veterans of unpopular or lost conflicts may be discriminated against. Veterans of short or small conflicts are often forgotten when the country fought bigger conflicts. In some countries with strong anti-military traditions (e.g., Germany after 1945), veterans are neither honoured in any special way by the general public, nor have their dedicated Veterans Day, although events are sometimes orchestrated by minority groups.

Short film
A short film is any film not long enough to be considered a feature film. Although no consensus exists as to where that boundary is drawn, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits". The term featurette originally applied to a film longer than a short subject, but shorter than a standard feature film.
The increasingly rare term short subject means approximately the same thing. An industry term, it carries more of an assumption that the film is shown as part of a presentation along with a feature film. Short is an abbreviation for either term. Short films are often screened at local, national, or international film festivals and made by independent filmmakers for non profit, either with a low budget or no budget at all. They are usually funded by film grants, non profit organizations, sponsor, or personal funds. Short films are generally used by filmmakers to gain experience and/or prove their talent in order to gain funding for future films from private investors, entertainment companies, or film studios.

Anybody who has had a family member serve (or continues to serve) in the military will know that it is no easy task; not being able to chat with them, children missing their parents overseas and the imminent fear of what is happening around them. The feeling of being reunited with a loved one brings forth a whirlwind of emotions ranging from relief to sheer exhilaration. Sadly, not everybody makes it home safely and the grief people face from losing a friend or family member while in the line of duty is nothing short of traumatic. Facebook / William Jazwinski William Jazwinski, a former Heavy Wheeled Vehicle Operator in the US army and he recounted the story on Facebook of when he was pulled over by a police officer. Me: Goodmorning officer. Was I speeding? Officer: Goodmorning, no not speeding. Just wanted to stop ya and say thank you for your service. Me: oooh the bumper sticker, nice. Your welcome sir. My pleasure. Officer: where did you serve? Me: I went to Iraq. Did a 15 monther. Out of Ft Benning. Officer: well alright. My son went to Iraq. He didn’t make it home. Me: man, I’m so sorry to hear that. I just finished a PTSD program. Officer: I see you have a flag in the truck. The one we got for him! Well, it’s at the house. Can I ask a question? Me: Sure. Officer: Do you mind stepping out and receiving a hug. You remind me of my son. I pulled you over. I thought you were him. I still don’t believe it most days he’s gone. William then went on to say: “With tears in both our eyes I got out and hugged that man. I’m talking about for a minute or two crying. Down to our knees crying. I needed that. To all the family and friends of soldiers, fighting or done fighting, God bless you. Your peace and your hearts. It’s so hard without them, I know. This road is a tremendous one. Love to all.” It turns out that through grief, sometimes it can take a total stranger to bring solace to someone else and by the sounds of things, it’s an encounter that neither of them will ever forget. -

Plot: Television viewer seeing this for the first time: Gee whiz, it's in black-and-white and was made in the 40's and is about crime and...Eureka!...another "noir" film is discovered. How about just another typical Martin Mooney film that starts out as pretending to be something socially significant---call Prison Warden Lewis E. Lawes to do another prologue speech---and then quickly gets into just another cops-vs-robbers (or good crooks vs. bad crooks)B-feature action-thriller that will open in every 2nd-tier theatre in the country on Sunday, close on Wednesday... and be the bottom-half of a grind-house twin-bill two weeks later. "San Quentin" ably fills that description. Ex-con Jim Rowland (Lawrence Tierney), gone straight and returning from WWII as a hero, is more than a bit irked, as one of the founders of the Prison Welfare League (cons rehabilitating cons inside and outside the walls), when he learns that bank robber Nick Taylor (Barton MacLane) has used the good name of the PWL to escape from San Quentin, and knocked the Warden in the head to boot. This is one founding father that isn't going to stand idly by after the good name of the PWL has been stained, especially by the likes of Barton MacLane, probably still laughing at the thought there was a Warden somewhere who would actually trust him. So Jim and his ex-con pal 'Broadway' (Joe Devlin) set out to track down Nick Taylor. They encounter Marian Carr along the way.

"You have an animal in a public restaurant!" the woman screams, pointing to an Army veteran and his Great Dane, a PTSD service dog. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Army Veteran Gets Pulled Over By Police Officer, But Then He Points To The Front Of His Car.
Anybody who has had a family member serve (or continues to serve) in the military will know that it is no easy task; not being able to chat with them, children missing their parents overseas and the imminent fear of what is happening around them.
The feeling of being reunited with a loved one brings forth a whirlwind of emotions ranging from relief to sheer exhilaration.
Sadly, not everybody makes it home safely and the grief people face from losing a friend or family member while in the line of duty is nothing short of traumatic.

William Jazwinski, a former Heavy Wheeled Vehicle Operator in the US army and he recounted the story on Facebook of when he was pulled over by a police officer.
Me: Goodmorning officer. Was I speeding?
Officer: Goodmorning, no not speeding. Just wanted to stop ya and say thank you for your service.
Me: oooh the bumper sticker, nice. Your welcome sir. My pleasure.
Officer: where did you serve?
Me: I went to Iraq. Did a 15 monther. Out of Ft Benning.
Officer: well alright. My son went to Iraq. He didn’t make it home.
Me: man, I’m so sorry to hear that. I just finished a PTSD program.
Officer: I see you have a flag in the truck. The one we got for him! Well, it’s at the house. Can I ask a question?
Me: Sure.
Officer: Do you mind stepping out and receiving a hug. You remind me of my son. I pulled you over. I thought you were him. I still don’t believe it most days he’s gone.
William then went on to say: “With tears in both our eyes I got out and hugged that man. I’m talking about for a minute or two crying. Down to our knees crying. I needed that.
To all the family and friends of soldiers, fighting or done fighting, God bless you. Your peace and your hearts. It’s so hard without them, I know. This road is a tremendous one. Love to all.”
It turns out that through grief, sometimes it can take a total stranger to bring solace to someone else and by the sounds of things, it’s an encounter that neither of them will ever forget.

Military Veteran and State Rep OWNS Judge in Court!
Dick Marple is a military veteran, former cop, and four-term state representative from Hooksett, New Hampshire. In the summer of 2016, he was arrested on a warrant for driving with an invalid license and released on $4,000 personal recognizance. He attended an arriagnment in June and challenged the court's jurisdiction among other things, and then was arrested while campaigning on election day, November 9th. Police say he failed to appear at Concord District Court to answer to charges of driving while license suspended and "prohibitions" regarding an allegedly invalid license. This week, Dick was back in court for a case status hearing, where he let the judge have it, in front of a full courtroom. Voice of Eritrea is pleased to hold exclusive interview with Veteran Abed Tesfay from Netherland. Veteran Abed joined the ELF at his young age in 1971 and served there until 1973. From 1973 he moved to the EPLF and served until independence of Eritrea. He sustained heavy injury during armed struugle for liberation, and as many Eritrean, had to flee his country due to prevailing political situation in Eritrea. He lives as refugee in The Netherlands, leaving back home his wife and children. He is author of a book named "ጻማከ ለከንቱ" meaning "Sacrifice without reward". Veteran Abed is giving his account as it happened during his time, back in the field and after the independence of Eritrea. His account and experience is therefore invaluable in the learning of our history.

Dick Marple is a military veteran, former cop, and four-term state representative from Hooksett, New Hampshire.
In the summer of 2016, he was arrested on a warrant for driving with an invalid license and released on $4,000 personal recognizance.
He attended an arriagnment in June and challenged the court's jurisdiction among other things, and then was arrested while campaigning on election day, November 9th. Police say he failed to appear at Concord District Court to answer to charges of driving while license suspended and "prohibitions" regarding an allegedly invalid license.
This week, Dick was back in court for a case status hearing, where he let the judge have it, in front of a full courtroom.

Bottles of cleaning fluid and painter's caulk usually have their own fair share of fatal warning stickers, which is why I've never been to the ER for an eating-related stunt. But that is no feat. It's normal.
Chris Schewe, or Shoenice, has taken a different approach. The man who will eat anything to end world hunger started at the age of three by eating a pack of cigarettes and being rushed to the hospital. Through grade school he would go on to defeat the dares of his classmates and bullies. Gobbling down cups of salt and baking soda, pieces of metal, glue, grass, and piles of sawdust, he found a way to win their love. Chris was a hellraiser with an iron stomach who grew up with his brother under an alcoholic mother whom he would later discover dead (from alcohol-related issues) on the living room floor.
As an adult, his ability to slug bag everything from car wax to motor oil has turned him into a YouTube star.
From vodka slams to eating glue, shoenice is the human garbage disposal.
