The Untold Tales of Armistead Maupin
Thursday 18th May 2017

On the 18th May Sister Eileen Dover, Novice Sister Catheter, Mother Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation II, also joined by WD 4.0 had the great pleasure of attending the screening of The Untold Tales of Armistead Maupin at the Verona Cinema in Paddington. What a fabulous opportunity for the sisters to be out and about and mingle with the gathered faithful who also came to see this informative documentary on the life of the popular author Armistead Maupin. There were many poignant moments in the film as stories of the rise of the gay liberation movement through to the outbreak of what was to become the AIDS epidemic as far and wide it touched the lives of so many people. At the conclusion there was a rousing round of applause from those in attendance.
