Illegal, or unlawful, is used to describe something that is prohibited or not authorized by law.
Illegal may also refer to:
An officer is a person who has a position of authority in a hierarchical organization.
A police force is a constituted body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the law, protect property, and limit civil disorder. Their powers include the legitimized use of force. The term is most commonly associated with police services of a sovereign state that are authorized to exercise the police power of that state within a defined legal or territorial area of responsibility. Police forces are often defined as being separate from military or other organizations involved in the defense of the state against foreign aggressors; however, gendarmerie are military units charged with civil policing.
Law enforcement, however, constitutes only part of policing activity. Policing has included an array of activities in different situations, but the predominant ones are concerned with the preservation of order. In some societies, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, these developed within the context of maintaining the class system and the protection of private property. Many police forces suffer from police corruption to a greater or lesser degree. The police force is usually a public sector service, meaning they are paid through taxes.
In common law systems, a superior court is a court of general competence which typically has unlimited jurisdiction with regard to civil and criminal legal cases. A superior court is "superior" relative to a court with limited jurisdiction (see lower court), which is restricted to civil cases involving monetary amounts with a specific limit, or criminal cases involving offenses of a less serious nature. A superior court may hear appeals from lower courts (see court of appeal).
The term "superior court" has its origins in the English court system. The royal courts were the highest courts in the country, with what would now be termed supervisory jurisdiction over baronial and local courts. Decisions of those courts could be reviewed by the royal courts, as part of the Crown's role as the ultimate fountain of justice. The royal courts became known as the "superior courts", while lower courts whose decisions could be reviewed by the royal courts became known as "inferior courts". The decisions of the superior courts were not reviewable or appealable, unless an appeal was created by statute.
King County is a county located in the U.S. state of Washington. As of the 2010 census its population was 1,931,249. King is the most populous county in Washington, and the 13th-most populous in the United States. The county seat is Seattle, which is the state's largest city.
King County is included in the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA Metropolitan Statistical Area. About two-thirds of the county's population lives in the city's suburbs. As of 2011, King County was the 86th highest-income county in the United States.
The county was originally named after William Rufus King who was Vice-President when the Washington Territory was created. In 1986, a motion was introduced to change the namesake to Martin Luther King, Jr. No public votes or hearings were taken on the change.
On February 24, 1986, the King County Council passed Council Motion 6461 five votes to four setting forth the historical basis for the renaming of King County in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Because only the state can charter counties, this change was not made official until April 19, 2005, when the Governor signed Senate Bill 5332 into law.
Where are american citizen civil liberties? Why are we being arrested for failing to use a turn signal within 100 feet? when clearly we are using the turn signal?? Could it be that is an excuse to get in someones car?? Doing an inventory?? How bout that is the excuse to search without a warrant??? Of course they did say how we gonna get in that car "oh look he double parked" After police are clearly seen planting drugs in car we have an arrest for possession!!!! Imagine that ! How nice. What happened to a ticket? for failing to use a turn signal within 100 Feet. These officers called this driver by first name, like they knew him. HMMMM then went to court and testified they were training a rookie and thats why the inventory (illegal search) took over an hour.!! This happened i...
The actions of some police officers are under the microscope.
These 2 Allentown PA cops think they are above the Code of Conduct. I'm starting to think they are too... It is important to note that I personally do not care if they smoke but the rules are the rules. These cops would use the same logic when writing you a jaywalking ticket. The smoking is not the focus of this video. The attitude and disrespect is the real issue. Only bad cops don't want to be filmed. 1.2.05 PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES C. Smoking. Members shall not smoke in uniform during an assignment involving public contact, in city vehicles or in the workplace.
NOTE: Two videos from Federal Court have been merged into one video. Both were recorded on Sept 25th, 2013 This incriminating, exculpatory, video was withheld by Mrs. P. Haskins the Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in the Circuit Court of Danville Virginia and only now has this video has been made available for viewing. In this video, the officers are overheard describing how they plan to perform an illegal No-knock entry and searching outside the venue of the warrant for bootleg DVDs with a marijuana search warrant. These are several illegal police misconduct performed by these officers. Noting that these officers testified in the Circuit Court of Danville that they did probably not going out in that they never looked outside the venue of the warrant but really looking for bootleg DVDs de...

This is what happens when a white, empowered lawyer happens upon San Francisco Police officers aggressively piling onto a poor black man, then peacefully begins to record what he sees. Imagine how the police treat people who don't know their rights or aren't white.
A state judge has ordered New York City to release a summary of misconduct findings against the police officer who put Eric Garner in a fatal chokehold in a case that added to the national debate on how police deal with minorities. In an opinion dated on Friday, the one-year anniversary of Garner’s death, and released publicly late Wednesday, State Supreme Court Justice Alice Schlesinger granted a freedom of information request from the Legal Aid Society. After police sought to question Garner, an unarmed black man, about selling loose cigarettes illegally, Officer Daniel Pantaleo placed him in a chokehold maneuver that is banned by the New York City Police Department. http://feeds.reuters.com/~r/Reuters/domesticNews/~3/SWXEqEhmZ-U/story01.htm http://www.wochit.com This video was produce...

http://www.appellate-brief.com In 2005, civil rights attorney Susan Chana Lask was the only attorney who would file a civil rights suit for New Jersey Police Detective Gary Wade against State Troopers caught on video holding a gun to him, using excessive force and pepper spraying him during a routine car stop. Despite Mr. Wade losing his job as a detective because his police chief claimed that he was at fault and he was criminally charged, Ms. Lask filed the civil rights suit because no one determined if his civil rights were violated. After extensive pre-trial litigation conducted by Ms. Lask, including depositions of the State Troopers, in 2009 a jury found the State Troopers conduct was wrong and awarded Mr. Wade millions.

What is POLICE MISCONDUCT? What does POLICE MISCONDUCT mean? POLICE MISCONDUCT meaning. Police misconduct refers to inappropriate or illegal actions taken by police officers in connection with their official duties. Police misconduct can lead to a miscarriage of justice and sometimes involves discrimination or obstruction of justice. In an effort to control police misconduct, there is an accelerating trend for civilian agencies to go beyond review to engage directly in investigations and to have much greater input into disciplinary decisions. In addition, individuals and groups are now filming police in an effort to force police to become accountable for their actions and for their inactions. A startling courthouse security video leaked by a government whistleblower records the illegal 2009 assault and arrest of indigent, disabled pro per litigant and family court reform activist Robert Saunders. During a March 9, 2009 court hearing, Judge Matthew Gary ordered the self-represented Saunders arrested and jailed for contempt of court. Two outside, independent judges who later reviewed the incident determined that both the contempt charge and arrest were illegal. One of the two reviewing judges also issued an order removing Gary from the case for bias and violating state contempt law. The new video leak appears to reinforce the review findings, showing Saunders sitting passively at the courtroom counsel table until a painful "control hold" is applied to his arm by a deputy sherif...

The 8-person jury was comprised of Latinos and whites and no African-Americans. Mr. Sheppard plans to appeal. When Cops tell on Cops Part 3 / This is continuation of what happens when officers report alleged misconduct and or illegal activity. This should be an eye opener to those on the outside of law enforcement. As I promised earlier in the week, here is part 3 of When Cops tell on Cops. If after watching part 2 made you understand the obvious, part 3 will bring you full circle on the combined effort to accomplish a mission rather good or bad. Please share and lets get this to our Governor to let him know what kind of person he appointed as The Louisiana Commissioner of Law Enforcement. Tune in Wednesday for the black female’s account of what took place in her own voice as it relates to the officer and the investigation. NEVER HEARD BEFORE AUDIO.
